Tim Hortons — Restaurant in Edmonton

I am a regular here because it’s right beside my house and the staff here are usually fantastic and very nice, but I had an incident today that left me feeling awful. Today’s incident I ordered a coffee and some Timbits. It was fast. Drove up to the speaker, ordered then drove right up to the window. (No wait) I then was grabbing my wallet while the lady today (about 20ish minutes ago) i think she’s new, im there literally everyday, haven’t seen her before was trying to shove the debit machine at me. I tried to quickly grab my cards. While she was scanning my tims card she said “next time have your card ready for us” I politely mentioned that I was driving and that I couldn’t. She then suggested that I should stop in the middle of the drive through to grab my cards before coming to the window. I then said “I’m sorry, I thought that may back people up.” She then said that it was fine and to do so. So I didn’t say anything. (I don’t do well with confrontation) she handed me my things, I then quickly put my card in my wallet so I could drive off. She then yelled out the window “ BYYYE”. I left feeling awful and embarrassed because I was truly trying my best here, but felt it was unsafe to grab and put back my cards while driving. Absolutely terrible Tim Hortons team work. I bought 2- H&G Pastry,2 - 4 cheese twist 2- spinach &feta egg Pastry. I asked "Please, put it in cardboard box for my daughter birthday ". Answer was " No, we can not do it because this is Tim Hortons police and to get cardboard box you must to buy 6 donalds ". I said "Ok if i buy 6 donalds and put their in garbage bin right now everybody will be happy?" They said "Yes". Finally we argued each other about 15 minutes .I have got headache and high blood pressure. Tim Hortons workers were exited also. 15 minutes 2 workers were worked for me.Thank you. My question for Tim Hortons company is why do you have so stupid policy? How much it cost 1 UNBELIVABLE important cardboard box? I asked to sell it for me. " No" I heard back to me. I left your workers unhappy till end the shift. I have got a problem with my health also. Reason is a CARDBOARD BOX. HA-HA-HA Tomorrow morning I will bring the story in my office as funny story. We will drink a coffee ( No more Tim Hortons coffee in my office 1 month).Any time if somebody will bring TH coffee in my job place I will ask "Did you buy this coffee in accordance TH policy?" Every single time I go to this Tim’s, they intentionally hold up the lines by making you wait an unnecessary amount of time at the order screen in the drive thru. They say “hold on, just double checking your order” and then make you wait for 2+ minutes before saying drive up. Ive watched as they’ve told me to wait while they “check the previous cars order”, and then in the drive thru line beside me they will send through multiple cars. This happens every single time I go here. I’ve worked fast food in the past so I know this is there way of not having their order timer start until they've already made it and you’re at the window paying, but they hold up the lines tremendously and have no regard for their customers time. I live 1 minute from this Tim’s but if I have the extra time in the mornings I will drive almost 10 minutes out of the way to go to the one on Winterburn road, or 10 minutes the other direction and go to the one on Lessard Road, simply because I would get my order sooner driving to those locations than I would waiting at the order screen at this one in Granville.
