Today’s experience solidified my decision to never stop at this location again. After 5-10 minutes in a long drive thru line up, I finally rolled up to signs on the screen/call boxes noting that cash was only being accepted. I had no cash on me and would have backed out or left if I could have. I just wanted a quick pick me up and something to make my stomach stop grumbling. Instead, I waited another 5-10 minutes before I got up to the window. I expressed my frustration with finding out about said “inconvenience” in the middle of the line rather than near the entrance of the drive thru. The window attendant seemed to not care in the slightest and condescendingly told me that the debit machines in the store worked but not in the drive through. The signs never mentioned that though… So after 15-20 minutes I’m expected to park and go in and wait some more? I’m trying to be understanding because tech has a mind of its own, but the team acted like I myself was an inconvenience for asking that they consider the time of their customers by making a quick change to what the signs say and where they place them so that no one else had to sit in the drive thru on a Friday evening with nothing to show for it 20 minutes later. I’m not usually a Karen bc I have first hand experience in fast food but this was something else. Food was never amazing at this location anyway, I should’ve known not to pull in. Was gonna give 2 stars until I...
Read moreThis Tim Hortons is the closest one to my place of work, so it's a place I frequent when I need a quick bite to eat. Service has always been incredibly fast, but that speed comes at the expense of messing up your order frequently and rushing you if you take even a moment to put away your phone or cards.
I asked for a specific cream cheese this morning, noticed it was the wrong one on the screen, and specifically corrected it before moving up to the window. The response I received was a very rushed "I'll have that fixed for you" - I made the mistake of trusting the employee and didn't check. It was not fixed, and I only found that out once I got to work. Mind you, it was a holiday morning, so the lineup was not very busy, a bit of extra time would not have hurt the flow of the line.
Be prepared for incredibly inconsistent food experience here. Sometimes it's actually very good, other times things are burnt, missing items, or entirely wrong. I'd recommend taking a moment to double check your order is fully correct before leaving the window, don't let them pressure you to move out of line.
My experiences at the other Tim's down the road is usually worse so I can't be too harsh on this one, but more accuracy and consistency in the food would absolutely be worth a slightly...
Read moreAbsolute joke of establishment, came in (drive thru) at 10:50pm on a Sunday before my shift started and ordered ham & cheddar sandwich and iced coffee.
The sandwich I was given was LITERALLY rock hard and half the size of a normal sandwich (probably why the workers wrapped it with so much napkins) absolutely disgusting I seriously couldn’t eat it. When you’re charging $9 for a sandwich I wouldn’t mind being able to eat it also.
Not sure if the staff were just messing with me giving me bread like that..? Would honestly like the know the thought process behind giving someone food that’s stale and burnt to a crisp. That employee shouldn’t be working anywhere near food I think
Am I surprised? Nope. This location seems to runs through staff consistently and can’t seem to keep anyone. Maybe it’s an issue with the owner/higher ups.
Disappointed with my disgusting sandwich today though...
