Absolutely horrible customer service avoid this location at all costs!

So I went to this location on March 26 2017 around 6:30 PM I placed my order for the Asiago Chicken (Home style) and a poutine and a Large drink. (#9 combo)
So the amount came to just over $13 it was $13 and some change and I hand her a $20.00 bill she starts counting out all loonies. I said no don't give me all loonies back don't have a five dollar bill she said no that the manager forgot to go to the bank.
Come on really? The manager forgot to go to the bank what kind of incompetency is this on the part of the management of this store.
Then I had to wait for ever to get the Asiago Chicken I waited up there for at least 10 minutes. I was thinking what are they doing killing the chicken out back or something?
By the time I got the chicken sandwich the poutine I ordered was ice cold. The service was absolutely horrible.
Then on top of that the girl at the front counter never even gave me a copy of my bill with the store number so I could not submit an online complaint via the Wendy's website because it asks you for the store number. But I did call the Wendy's customer service number 1-888-624-8140
When I got though to a guy I asked that they please put the store numbers next to the store when you do a lookup on their website for stores near by. As per the customer service rep I spoke to as well it is policy that the store give out a receipt to the customers but this store is not doing that.

Read moreI won't comment on the food as this is a chain and they're all similar. The service and staff at this restaurant are no good. First off, they are severely understaffed. They had one person on the till and a few (maybe 2 or 3 in the kitchen). This was not enough for a Friday night at dinner time (6pm). I had to wait quite a while before I was even looked at while waiting in line to order. While I was there a group that was behind me was still waiting for their food and I had already gotten mine and ate it. They struck up a quick conversation with me saying "wow this place is slow" - I could imagine his frustration as he pribsbly waited 15 min for his food. It seemed like the drive thru was moving along though so I bet the staff were prioritizing the drive thru over the people standing inside. The line was large when we left and most people were there for a long time. The person at the counter had poor English and I asked about a menu item but I just couldn't understand anything so I didn't bother and just ordered something else. When I was leaving I wanted a package of ketchup for my sandwich that I didn't finish. After waiting another 5 minutes to get someone's attention, then a few more minutes, they come back saying they don't have any ketchup packets left! That is ridiculous! I wasn't surprised because I already had such a bad experience here and this just topped it off. I hope management makes some changes, otherwise they will go under. Staff seemed under trained and inventory must be pretty bad if they don't...
Read moreI rarely leave bad reviews, but this experience left me no choice. I went to Wendy’s and ordered a double JBC, planning to redeem my reward for a free Dave’s Double. The cashier scanned my rewards once, it didn’t show up, and she immediately said she couldn’t scan it again because “it’s against the system.” She was rude and completely unaccommodating from the start.
I even asked if it would help to cancel my order and start over, but she flat-out refused, saying she couldn’t do that either. There was no effort to find a solution, no explanation of why the system works this way, and no attempt to make the situation right. On top of losing my reward, I didn’t even get points for this purchase, so it’s like it never happened in the app.
I walked out feeling like I wasted my time and money, and left with the impression that this location does not value customers or their loyalty program. If this is how they handle rewards and customer concerns, I won’t be coming back - and I’d warn others to avoid this location unless you want the same frustration.
