Lil' Igloo — Restaurant in Edson

Lil' Igloo has a special place in my heart. My family and I will happily make the drive to Edson just for their poutine—it's hands-down my favourite anywhere. Some of my best memories are road trips with my dad and sister, rolling through Edson and making that essential stop at Lil' Igloo for poutine and a milkshake. Now, I'm making new memories with my own kids, and their favourite is the coconut rolled ice cream (they talk about it for days after!).

So glad a new place has opened in Edson, the food here is to die for, what I ordered is a double Dad burger and fries, the burger was so juicy and had perfect portions of every topping. I have yet to try the ice cream or shakes they offer but if it's anything like the quality I had tonight I'll go broke from being there every night. Lil’Igloo is a cute little drive-thru-only independent fast food spot on the westbound side of the highway through Edson. Huge menu with lots of delicious options, both sweet and savoury, hot and cold. Burgers are very large, with many different topping combos to choose from. The food takes time, as it’s made fresh, so don’t expect it to be too fast, but it’s worth the wait!
