This was once considered the most "real" and well-equipped Starbucks location on campus. The reason for that was that this was the only location on campus that had a full menu of items, they would take online orders, serve your coffee in real cups if you were staying in, and you could use your Star Rewards for all types of merchandise and orders. All of that went out the window when UBC bought this Starbucks location in order to be able to manage it themselves, and obviously get more profit from the sales. They have student baristas, which are mostly nice, and they still offer a wide variety of things. However, there is no ordering ahead anymore, which makes it very inconvenient if you are in a time crunch, and although you can scan and pay with your Starbucks card, you cannot use any Star rewards at all. Read moreEverytime I have came to the location they have messed up my order, whether it be messing up my drink or forgetting my food. I had been very calm about this, because I understand that costumer service is hard. Today was not okay. I politely asked for my sandwiches and they said they deal with it right away. Shortly after, I get my sandwiches one of them is lukewarm and the other is ICE COLD. At this point I'm rightfully mad after waiting a half hour, so I go up and express my concerns and he asks if I want him to re heat it and I say "no I want my money back." They gave me my money back but the whole time treated me like I was the one in the wrong. Very...
Read moreI thought they made the drink wrong. Actually, they took the wrong order. I wanted triple shots. They ordered double shots which is tall in grande. That’s why the drink is not full and tastes sweet affff. I thought the T on the sticker stands for “triple”. But a friend who worked for Starbucks before says it means “tall in grande”. I always order on the app. This store doesn’t have the option to order on the app. I asked the staff who made it the first time, is it triple shots, she said yes. So I am confused. I am not trying to pay less to get a full cup... Who cares about the price of a cup of coffee. I just want to have the drink I always ordered especially since I was craving for it...
