Elk Valley Pizza Shoppe — Restaurant in Fernie

I have ordered from this place several times and each time my order has been wrong. The first time I ordered thin crust but received regular crust. They were great about it and delivered a new thin crust pizza...I returned the original crust. The next time I ordered a small, but received a large instead. I was at work that evening and extremely hungry so asked the delivery guy if I could keep it because I wasn't able to wait until a new one was delivered (at least it was thin crust) Then tonight I ordered again (because I really do like the pizza) thin crust as usual and once again I received a pizza with regular crust. I called to see if I had checked thin crust when I ordered online and was told by the girl that answered the phone, that I did in fact check thin crust and that her manager told her that is what I got and if he made the crust any thinner it wouldn't hold the toppings. I might have been okay with that answer if it was my first time ordering there, but it's not and I have ordered as many toppings as I did tonight with a thinner crust. Anyway....tonight's pizza is doughy and a big disappointment. I'm sad to say that I now need to find a new place to order from. Perhaps tonight's pizza was payback for the large one I had previously received in error.

We advise others to exercise extreme caution when engaging with this company, ensure all terms are in writing and consider legal review before agreements. Me and my better half ventured out of the lower mainland to the rocky mountains in fernie for 3 nights. I don't eat alot of pizza these days but when i do i prefer to spend top dollar on high quality ,authentic pizza. I stay away from all the lousy chain pizza joints and stick to the italian spots in vancouver such as lombardo's. I've lived in the lower mainland for 48 years and have been to alot of the authentic pizza places in the city and consider the Elk Valley pizza right up there with the best pizza i've ever had. The selection of toppings,crusts,sauces,and other food items was enormous. Its not a full size restraunt for dine in but the take out and delivery type of service ,you won't find better pizza anywhere around the lower mainland . My taste buds and stomach give Elk Valley...
