The shop was beautiful and aesthetic, decorated lightly with bright colours, with a comfortably arranged seating area by the window. Chose a highly rated local coffee shop for our usual iced latte and matcha latte fix, but I waited way too long for my order to be taken by the girl wanting to finish a conversation with her coworker. She even turned to look at me, standing in front of the counter, before proceeding to converse some more before service. I asked if the matcha lattes were sweet, and she said yes and that they were sweetened with honey. Finally got our orders, took our first sip and gave each other a disgusted look. My matcha latte was bitter and so mediocre + the iced latte had a weird aftertaste. Not to mention paid $14 total with tip..

Stopped by on a whim on our way through town and are SO glad we did. The latte and flat white we had were incredible, full of flavour, well balanced and deep. We bought a bag of beans and I had trouble getting my grinder settings right so I reached out and they (Keegan) were incredibly responsive and helpful in communicating their brew parameters and getting it tasting right. Getting removed/distant customer service is surprisingly difficult and for us, having someone/a company that takes the time to connect back says as much about their quality as a company as their product does. Unfortunately one of the worst coffees I've ever had. The cozy setting of the building is amazing but unfortunately the quality of the coffee did not match. I wanted to like this place and I wanted the coffee to taste really good but I needed to write this review and share the feedback. I also liked How much coffee paraphernalia they were selling But as I looked closer everything was covered in a thick layer of dust and it was overpriced.
