Pho Mac Restaurant — Restaurant in Fort McMurray

Fantastic service! The food is tasty and the price isn't horrible. The ambiance is welcoming and relaxing. The bathrooms could use a renovation to mame it more modern like the rest of the restaurant...but that's minor because the food and the people are great. Very family friendly, and there is something for everyone.

The prices are a little higher than in Edmonton, however one thing we have to remember is the cost of renting space here in Fort McMurray. If the rent wasn't so high the food prices for these privately owned places probably wouldn't be as high either. I am absolutely NOT complaining about the price of food, rather the price the rip off artists in town are charging businesses to lease space. This is how the big corporations come in to towns very easily and take over, closing small businesses.

So how about we all support this privately owned amazing establishment. If you've never been to a PHO restaurant please...

The service was excellent and it seems the wait time has gone down compared to other reviewers’ experiences. It took us 20 minutes to get our food.

We ordered the crispy shrimp rolls and it was delicious. We also ordered pho that was quite impressive for Fort McMurray - clear broth, good portion! The only reason I’d give them a 4 star is because they are almost perfect - the one thing lacking was the depth in flavour, this could be due to not enough beef bones in the batch for the broth or lacking pho flavouring.

The new pho restaurant that has just opened. Be prepared to wait a while, I think we were there for about an hour until we had our food, it did take a long time compared to what it should be. It was busy, and under staffed. I think it's the best pho in town. Did seam like lots of noodles and not enough Cilantro maybe some room for improvement. The chilli oil was really good.The place itself is really nice inside, they did a pretty good job with a tile. There is some nice chill spots in there, it'll be nice if they get a liquor license but currently they don't have one. One downfall is, I don't think it is wheelchair accessible as I did not see a ramp. Washrooms...
