This place makes me sad :( It is usually too busy-why, I don't know, the service is slow, and it's dirty. (Don't use the restrooms to wash up before eat or after eating, you'll only feel dirtier than before you walked in.)
I noticed a while ago that all DQs are now pre-cooking their burgers and then warming them in the microwave when ordered. I can taste this a mile away, and their burgers now remind me of the ones you get from the fridge at a convenience store that you warm in their microwave. This is too bad, because their burgers used to have such a great char broiled flavour when they were fresh. The fact that you have to wait 20 minutes for something nuked is really sad.
The service is rude and abrupt. It's like you're annoying the employees by walking into this place. I always feel like I've done something wrong and am about to be scolded when I walk up to the counter.
And please don't get pissy with me if I order a small cone and you have to go though the huge effort and annoyance of asking me if I want it dipped. If I want coco flavoured wax on it, I would say so.
Come on folks. You're selling ice cream. It's a happy fun product. Quit making it such a downer experience.

Read moreWe occasionally get a blizzard from the Fort Sask location but really they are all the same. They constantly over fill the blizzard cup so when they put a lid on by the time you get home (5-10min) it is melting and makes a big mess on outside of cup and most time in the vehicle as well. Started trying to get them to leave the little white sleeve or collar on the top from when they make it rather than a lid just so I don't have the melting mess to deal with and each time trying to explain this to the kids working the drive through is like I given them a calculus equation to solve or something. Last night literally tried handing me a blizzard with ice cream dripping all down the side. Stop concerning yourself with turning blizzard upside down to show that fresh ice cream is thick, no one cares (can put water upside down if you do it fast enough). Start concerning yourself more with how customers can make a 5-10 min drive home and not have to clean their vehicle afterwards. Suggestion stop with lids altogether and just leave the collar on for customer.......also, I now thank you for the form letter respsonse that addressed nothing specific in my my review to show you how truly you could not...
Read moreThis review is of the last 2 visits there. Went to get a gift card and a Misty. Waited 25 mins, to be told they couldn't give me a gift card due to no one there knowing how to issue one. By this time, the Misty had melted, which was already overfull for the container and leaked out all over my cupholder. I would have taken a sip to avoid this, but it wasn't mine. Either way, shouldn't have taken 25 mins for this. Drive thru today. Ordered a meal deal. Fries were realllly old. Like they had sat there throughout lunch hour and were left over. When I unwrapped this burger, it was smothered in ketchup and there was no place to hang on to it. So glad I brought it home to eat instead of in my vehicle which sometimes happens. Dilly bars are unapetizing to see, let alone to eat the bland, grainy texture of the ice cream. Have ordered blizzards from there occasionally as well and they are either not even mixed, not full or the order was wrong. Yuck. This place has been consistently not good. Gross even. For what food costs these days, do better. Will not return. Will wait for my auto generated response from the DQ Fan Team that will no doubt have nothing to do with my actual...
