Mr Beast Burger - Smashed Burger's — Restaurant in Fort Saskatchewan

My son was so excited to try this place. Our whole family was disappointed. The Nashville Hot Chicken Tender sandwich was AWFUL! The picture shows large hand breaded tenders on a real bun, but what you actually get is 2 tiny grocery store frozen boxed chicken fingers. HOT?! If you have EVER had a Nashville HOT Chicken Sandwich, STEER CLEAR, this is NOT that. Thankfully I had my own hot sauce to add some flavour. There was little to no hot sauce and it was drenched in ketchup. Seriously, who puts ketchup on a hot chicken sandwich?!! There was so much ketchup the bun was soggy, although the thin pathetic bun didn’t need much help to disintegrate. The Chicken Tender sandwich was the same; the picture shows a 5 star sandwich but what you get is a dollar store-jacked-knock-off version. Husband ordered bacon for the Beast style burger but I guess it was too much of a hassle to cook it and add it, even though they charged us for it. The fries were all way over-cooked, like nuclear level crisped, the containers were barely half full and one container was just those little tiny bits from the end of the bag. Styrofoam containers? Really? It is 2022, might be time to invest in take out containers we can actually recycle. The best part of the meal? The stickers on the containers. I placed a pickup order though Uber Eats while I was at work. I proceed to go and pick up my order at the time it said it would be ready (approximately 15-20 minutes later). Upon arrival I let the staff know that I had placed an order through Uber eats. The lady at the front counter seemed confused and asked me what I had ordered. Should they not be able to see everything on there tablet when an order comes in?? I then proceeded to show them on my app. She then said " ok, we will make it now". I proceeded to wait in the store for almost 20 minutes before receiving my food. There was not a single other person in the store.... What is the point of ordering ahead of time If they only start making the food when you arrive? I am on a lunch break with limited time. Also, upon opening up my order I had received a wrong item as well. Not happy with the service and the food was mediocre. I could understand a wait if it was busy, but there was not a single person...

Mr Beast is probably the best smashburger place around. The toppings and flavors are bold and wake up your tastebuds. The Beast fries are another awesome flavour explosion but the fries are basically McCain Superfries so nothing to write home about but you quickly forget about what they lack while you are powering through the massive pile of toppings.

I wish Mr Beast wasn't only an online order thing and it was more of a full restaurant. Ghost Kitchens be ghost kitchens I guess.
