Red Swan Pizza – My #1 Choice in the Fort!
I’ve been going to Red Swan Pizza for about three years now, and every time I walk through their door, I feel like family. The staff are absolutely amazing—they always remember exactly how I like my pizza and that I can’t leave without my So Good chocolate cake. And let me tell you—it really is so good. (No pun needed—it’s just the truth!)
What really impressed me on this last visit was that I called right before closing, and instead of rushing me off the phone, they happily made my pizza without making me feel like a bother. That’s rare and so appreciated.
The pizza itself? Always fresh, always delicious, and honestly, their sesame seed crust is one of my favorite things about it. (Though... if I could make one small request—please overload the sesame seeds! It’s your signature, and you can never have too many!)
Everyone in the neighborhood seems to love this place as much as I do—on garbage day I see those green Red Swan boxes everywhere. It's clearly a Fort favorite.
If I had any complaint, it’s just that I wish they stayed open later, because I’d probably order even more often.
All in all, the people working here are the heart of this place. Kind, welcoming, and always making me feel like more than just another customer. Red Swan Pizza is a true gem in the Fort, and I genuinely think the community wouldn’t be the same without it.
If you haven't tried them yet, you’re missing out. And if you disagree, well... that’s your opinion—and none of my business! 😉
Thank you, Red Swan, for always being awesome. I appreciate you guys more than...
Read moreThis is only our second experience, I'm not sure what's going wrong in comparison to all the accolades by others. The telephone staff was a pleasant experience.
So this time I ensured that pizza's were ordered as 'Traditional crust' pizza's in note area but still received very thin pizzas that could not possibly come any thinner. It's simply too thin to support a Beef Taco (even with very little beef) or assume most of the 'loaded' gourmet choices?
With that being said the Pepperoni and Butter Chicken toppings were good quality, but I'd add more spicy type toppings to counteract the sweetness of the butter chicken. Skip the desert if you're ordering Cinnamon "Sticks", they're using white instead of brown sugar, a pinch at best of cinnamon, likely no butter and sliced like a pie, not sticks.
In conclusion if you're expecting the crust or dessert to look like the photos then you'll be disappointed, if not I think you may like it. If we order again I'll try one that's not part of a deal and see if there's more toppings maybe, but we likely...
Read more3 medium pizzas for $33.95? Sounds like a deal, especially being used to small town prices! It wasn't. Very, very light on toppings--like 2 tiny bites of chicken on each slice of bbq chicken pizza, carefully placed and 1 piece of each vegetable arranged on each slice of greek pizza. Minimal sauce and barely any cheese. I'd had Red Swan Pizza inEdmonton a few years ago and it was fantastic--loaded with toppings and the sesame seeds on the crust, yum--but this time, disappointing. I probably won't try again. I feel like I wasted my money on what we consider a rare treat.
BTW: Who else hates the online pre-tipping thing? I feel obligated to tip but also annoyed because I haven't even gotten any service yet! I did tip a few dollars, not that it made any difference to the quality of pizza or the lackluster service I received upon...
