I just want to say what a great customer service we had today when we were at your restaurant at Ricky‘s in Fort Saskatchewan .I was just the 2 of us as it always is and Donald was our server, as we always ask for him when we walk in .As he’s the best server we had ever had in the experience of all the restaurants I’ve been to and I’m 65 years old today And it’s amazing the service that he performs .He doesn’t miss a beat he picks up on everything .If you need something extra on your table right away, you don’t even have to ask he can tell by the expressions on our face of what we’re going to say to him, and he answers before we have a chance to ask him. He is just so awesome so funny , he makes us so happy and so comfortable he’s got excellent excellent customer service. This man deserves a medal to watch him run around when your restaurant is half full quarter full whatever it is he makes a point that he touches in on every table he doesn’t stop and to get that kind of service today is a blessing .He deserves an award , we always look forward to finding him when we come to that restaurant and if he’s not on we feel sad because he just makes us laugh and he makes you feel that you’re a part of the family there is the best of the best and you need to keep him and be kind to him and treat him with respect and understanding because there’s many like him .We talk to our friends and families about him and they all say the same ..We always refer everyone that we know we tell everyone to come to your restaurant and look him up and they have the same reactions that we have every time so take care good care of this young man and let him do what he does best, and that’s put a smile on your face from the moment you walk in to the moment you walk out And that’s what we need today in this world. Ricky's in Fort Saskatchewan is my go to place for breakfast. From the warm greeting to a fresh cup of hot coffee, service is central. Family is key here, and you feel like you are always part of the family.

I've always been impressed by the menu, delivering consistency and taste every time. Fluffy omelets and tasty "brekkie bowls" are my favourites. I prefer the red skin potatoes to the hashbrowns with my breakfast choices. For a great taste experience - try the brekkie bowl with soft poached eggs!

Desert after breakfast is fine! Do indulge in an individual apple pie or a seasonal special, you will not be disappointed.

A lunch or dinner treat is not to be missed either, with the piccolo loaf (best served with cheese) and a pasta hitting all the right spots. From a cheesy toasty and soup to a succulent Alberta beef burger, making dinner a comfort experience is the best choice here.

Why do I go back for a Ricky's breakfast every Sunday? Simple - consistency and value. Very, very disappointed with our service yesterday! It was past the lunch hour, and the restaurant was fairly empty.

All our soft drinks were served without ice or straws, and we had to ask twice for these items. Apparently ice and straws are in short supply at Ricky's.

When our four orders were dropped off, there was only cutlery for two on the table. Apparently cutlery and napkins are in short supply at Ricky's.

It wasn't busy, but we couldn't find a server, so we helped ourselves from another table. Apparently servers are in short supply at Ricky's (which is probably very true!)

But the absolute worst was another server coming along and taking our ketchup bottle (for another table) without even asking! Unbelievable! We asked that table if we could "borrow" the ketchup bottle back, so we could finish our fries. Apparently ketchup bottles are in short supply at Ricky's too!

I quietly asked that server about it, and was told it was their policy to clean off tables. But we weren't finished ...!

I deeply regret the 15% gratuity I selected on the $91.97 bill. The meal was acceptable (slightly above mediocre) but the service was exceptionally bad! I would not recommend...
