The Bear's Den is my favourite pub-style restaurant in Fort Saskatchewan by a wide margin. Don't settle for a crummy chain experience -- the Den has excellent food and appetizers, and they are always changing up the menu with new items. All your pub faves are there, but so are some really great salads and even gluten-free options for those who need them. The drinks menu and LONG lists of both "naughty" and "nice" shooters are fun to explore as well. It' a fun, casual place to let your hair down after work and socialize with friends. Read moreMy husband and I love going to the Bears Den for meals together. Tonight we weren't feeling like cooking or going out so we decided to order through skip and were highly disappointed with it. So I canceled our order through skip and called the location directly to go pick up our order. The food was prepped quickly and was much cheaper than ordering through skip. When I talked to I'm assuming the manager he was grateful that we didn't use skip as he mentioned they take quite the fees from the orders. Upon coming home to our delicious meal we discovered that they had added a few pieces of cake to our order for free and completely unexpected. We will always continue to support this business and highly encourage others to...
Read moreI have gone to the Den many times Great pub food, draft beer, and pub atmosphere cant beat that. Now if you can only get past the horrible service over and over and over again plus that on the hotest day of the year their draft beer goes down. Our table of 10 had empty glasses, bottles, and piles of platters with dirty plates piled over them finally after over an hour we went to look for our waitress for the 5th time too asked if they could please take them away. Being constantly ignored for refills and sevice multiple times and most of the time it was not even overly busy and not under staffed. Its too bad I really like the Den but Im going to have to pass it by too another pub when Im looking...
