Buffet to Go! — Restaurant in Fredericton

this place is horrible! Do NOT EAT HERE. After spending $40 on two large plates for our family night out we proceeded to walk out the door, well the bag ripped causing both large plates to fall on the ground right outside the door. 1 pate was ok but the other was all over the concrete. After proceeding to scoop all the food back into the container i went right back into the store to explain what had happened. After trying to explain what happened due to no real fault of ours they said i would have to buy a whole new plate at full price. i then proceeded to explain how they packaged the meals and all i did was walk with 2 kids to my car when their bag ripped. What kind of place makes a customer pay full price after a accident that was no fault of mine. They then proceeded to yell at me to watch my kids better and it was my fault. I left the food on the counter and watched them then start to empty my food back into the food bins they serve other people out of. AVOID THIS PLACE AT ALL COSTS. Horrible treatment of people in general and not to mention replacing food that was on the ground in a parking lot back into the bins they serve the next customers out of. Way to go...

The first time I got food from here in late 2023 the food was great, hands down some of the best Chinese cuisine I'd eaten. I got food from here recently, August 2024 and the rice was set out in the buffet was spoilt. I hadn't realised because they were also cleaning some of the cooking equipment and I was also distracted so I assumed the odd smell was from that and didn't think much else of it, but it was in fact the rice that was set out for people to eat. So, it's definitely a hit or miss. Thankfully, my stomach isn't super sensitive and we realised before really eating much of the rice, but just be mindful it could go either way at this place.

The meats were still decent, beef and broccoli, sweet and sour pork, fried shrimp and mushrooms were good; the general TSO was okay. Chicken...

First off this is not all you can eat. You buy a small medium or large plastic container and you need to be able to close the lid (no mountains) even though the three people in front of me had 3 large containers filled as a mountain. I asked to add 1 more egg roll and I was denied. Apparently some people are allowed to not be able to close the container and some aren’t. End of rant. The food was actually good, everything except the rice and noodles, they were bland and had no chicken in it. So I would give 4.5 stars on the good food and 2 stars for the rice and noodles.
