Pizza Delight — Restaurant in Fredericton

Updated review: 1 Star 3 years later, because I think about this when I order pizza from the St.Mary's location and triple check that I don't accidentally choose Smythe st location again. lol I emailed them as per the reply to my original review below and NEVER received a response. Just want others reading reviews to know that they did not follow through and seems as though they just want those reading reviews to think they follow up with less than stellar reviews, but they do not (in my experience)

Original review: 2 Stars Accidentally ordered pizza from Prospect st and meant to get St.Mary's st location. Ordered a traditional crust and it is thinner than a hin crust, did not raise at all. Also toppings in the center of the pizza and super sparse. The red pepper was in giant chunks and one chunk per slice (actually 1 chunk, not 2 or 3 or bite size) Pizza appeared cut but when you look under it isn't cut on the bottom at all, not one mark. Lol We are eating it because we are so hungry but it's worth the drive to St.Mary's, even if you live on top of the prospect st Pizza Delight. My first and hopefully last restaurant review.

Update: They reached out asking me to email them which I did right away and no one ever...

Seating for 2. Waited 15 mins for waiter to ask if we wanted something to drink. Placed our order- a large pizza and a salad to share.

Over 45 minutes passed and we're still sitting there with our tap water in a plastic glass. I asked if we could have our salad at least. He couldn't remember what salad was ordered.

All staff seemed to be focused only on Skip the Dishes and customer pick-up orders. Lots of pizza, etc, leaving the location. But nothing coming to us who were seated.

We then looked at each other. This is close to an hour now. We got up and just let the waiter know we weren't staying. Please cancel our order and walked out.

Update Note: it was suggested to contact Pizza Delight via email. All I got was another apology. No offer of "How can we make this better for you? Or, "Here, have a large pizza of your choice, on us!". Zero. Nadda. What was the point in contacting them after they saw this review?

I called in an order for 2 donairs, for pick up. When I got there, I was asked if I wanted to pre-pay, while I waited (which I did). I could see the staff in the kitchen from where I sat. No hairnets & one lady, who appeared to be the acting Manager, didn't even have her long hair tied back, in a ponytail. The lady that took my payment was carrying a flatbread or fajita from one end of kitchen to the front. I did not see her wash hands. I then noticed all staff that were serving & taking cash, were also preparing food. Again, I did not see anyone washing hands after contact with public or cash. I've found the last few times that I ordered takeout, the price seems crazy high for what you end up with, compared to when you eat in. This is only at Southside Prospect St, that I've been disappointed & saw this stuff tonight. Northside has so much...
