Deluxe has been in New Brunswick for decades, with most locations in the Moncton area. This is Fredericton's only Deluxe restaurant.
They use fresh-cut fries, and haddock for their fish and chips. They also have chicken strips, other seafood, burgers, etc. Deluxe has a system of ordering that looks chaotic sometimes, but the orders are always right and efficient.
I have been a fan of Deluxe since my first visit to the St. George St. location in Moncton in 1975. The service is fast, the food hot, and there are condiments choices like tartar sauce, vinegar, ketchup, etc.
A two-piece fish and chips would likely satisfy almost any appetite, served on a paper-based cardboard plate with plastic utensils. The food is double- and triple-bagged as necessary for transport.

If I could give zeros I would , Walked in asked what kind of fish was with fish and chips was told was cod So the supposedly cod was partially cooked already as well as the fries , the fries I understand but the fish? Never seen it before in my life . The girl behind the counter was the most unfriendly (pw) Asked if they had takeout containers as I asked for it to go was on a paper plate inside a paper bag. Asked for the normal things would want vinegar and was told out of salt and actually signs no salt ???? How hard is it to get salt seriously. Save your money go...

Me and the lady went here lastnight. I had eaten in the other location lots over by home depot but it's gone. I remember this prospect location years ago with my dad. There used to be tons of fries and everything was always made good... So the lady is from ontairo so it was her first experience ever. She got s 2 piece fish and chips and I got a double bacon burger platter. We both barely had any fries and her fish was really really cooked. Super hard and seemed burnt. We most likely won't be back as there's better options for cheaper around. This place used to be good....
