I'm writing this review as a concerned customer who witnessed a disturbing incident at the Wayback Burger Canada location. I was in the establishment a few days ago and I overheard a male employee make a sexually explicit comment to a colleague, which made me feel uncomfortable and alarmed.
The comment was not only unprofessional but also created a hostile work environment. As a customer, I expect to feel safe and respected when visiting a business. (had my kid with me) The fact that this incident occurred in a public area, where customers like me could overhear, is unacceptable.
I will not be returning to this location, and I urge others to consider the values and work culture of this establishment before supporting them. Businesses have a responsibility to provide a safe and respectful environment for both employees and customers.
I hope that Wayback Burger Canada takes immediate action to address this incident, provide training on workplace harassment, and ensure that their employees feel safe...
Read moreFirst time there last week. Probably won’t be back unfortunately. I was excited to try a new place but for the price of it it’s not worth it. This is what the chilli cheese fries looked like when I opened the box I was immediately disappointed in the amount in there and how they looked, cheese was barely melted. My sister also got a single stack burger which she asked for lettuce on it and there was none and there was jalapeños on it which she never asked for. When we walked in Cashier immediately seemed to be super annoyed by the fact that we needed a minute looking at the menu to decide what we wanted and was quite rude. I’m not one to leave reviews especially negative ones but I honestly was extremely...
Read moreIt's an open kitchen like concept so you can see the staff cook really made the joint feel like it's bustling. I went with friends on opening day and it was busy! Too busy for me, but we stayed and tried the food. It was good! Their options have a lot of stacked burgers but there is an order option where you can build your own burger if you don't feel like having a whole lot. Crispy and grilled chicken options too if you don't want beef. I'll definitely go again once it settles down a tad. Edit: and the staff were nice :) all the people who visited that day were very patient from what I saw. Opening day can be stressful and exciting! Well done Way Back on...
