Panago Pizza — Restaurant in Gibsons

First off, our experience with the staff is always lovely. They are always so friendly.

That being said, they are CONSISTENTLY out of so many ingredients. There are 2 pizzas that we love and they are out of at least one ingredient on each pizza 99% of the time. So the things I want are pretty much never available.

Also the app is not functional even if you try uninstalling and reinstalling. It tells you one item at a time is sold out so you have to go in and edit your order 5+ separate times with everything they're always out of, and then won't let you put in a house number. It used to work but in the last couple months it's just stopped.

And then their website once you try to complete the order it just errors out, so calling is the only option.

So between them never having what we want and their disfunctional technology, we won't be ordering from...

I ordered the "Vegan Canadian" because I am a "vegan Canadian" who just happens to be allergic to dairy. I've ordered this pizza before a dozen times, but this time I was not told that they were out of vegan cheese so they just put some dairy based cheese on it instead. Half way into the pizza I realised that something wasn't right. Called to let them know about this, but instead of an apology we were told to call their call center. A supervisor at their call center took our statement (even though we didn't ask for it) and we were told that they "take these kinds of things very seriously" and that we should get a call from someone at their Gibsons location within two business days. We're still waiting for...

I've had panago pizza from a few different locations and all have been consistently good; However, this location is obviously using less toppings and cheese than what the original recipe calls for which makes for a bad pizza but yet still at a premium price. My guess would be that the franchise owner/manager has instructed his staff to do this in order to increase profits. One dipping sauce was missing too -most likely intentional.
