Wow, absolutely Wow!

We moved to Grey-Bruce from Toronto in December, and we've had great difficulty finding delicious high quality food here.

We drove 1hr to get to Goderich for an early afternoon event. Afterwards we were hungry, but it was a Monday and we couldn't find many places open. We just happened to come across Cait's Cafe, and went in, masked up as usual as I'm seriously immunocompromised and since pandemic we haven't eaten indoors at a cafe or restaurant in.all.this.time. I had the Cuban Panini, and my hubby had the Perfect Pear Panini.

PEOPLE!!! When I tell you that neither of us have EVER had such absolutely scrumptious paninis in our lives, in anywhere outside of Italy, I'm not lying. They were 100% perfect and so delicious I've been fantasizing about them for days now, I cannot wait to go back. That's right, we WILL drive an hour again, JUST to eat at Cait's. The focaccia bread was perfect. The fillings were inventive and out of this world delicious.

The vibe = fantastic.

The back door was open, the front door was open, there was an excellent flow of air, and just from the attitude of the staff, and the details of the place, we felt they had been serious about being conscientious during the pandemic. We had initially placed our order to-go, as we usually do, but after I washed my hands in their spic-and-span washroom, hubby and I decided that yes, we will try eating indoors, unmasked, for the first time since March 2020. And we did, and it felt so good. But what's even better is that we're so happy so very happy to have done so at Cait's Cafe.

Charming Spot with Incredible Lattes! Cait’s Café is an absolute gem in the heart of Goderich! We stopped by on a sunny afternoon and instantly fell in love with the cozy, welcoming vibe. The atmosphere is calm and stylish, with the perfect mix of small-town charm and artisanal quality.

We tried the matcha iced latte and the salted caramel latte—both were absolutely delicious! The matcha had just the right balance of earthiness and creaminess, not too sweet, and so refreshing. The salted caramel latte was rich, smooth, and comforting with that perfect hint of salty-sweet flavor. You can really taste the care they put into their drinks.

The staff were friendly and warm, and everything—from the mugs to the music—made it feel like we were relaxing in someone’s beautifully curated living room. Great spot for coffee lovers, casual meetups, or a little solo break with a book.
