This review is for Brasserie Daniel Lapoint Granby.

I'll start by saying we were made to feel like second class citizens because we were English. If it were up to me I would have walked out, but had two other people with me, one being elderly so I stayed.

I myself will not be going back unless they decide to have English menus in the restaurant or make it so the french have to go online and go through all the steps the English have to in order to get a menu!

But I would like to say the service was good, the waitress was very friendly and polite. When I asked for an English menu she told us we had to go online for an English menu. She apologized for not having English menus.

Once you get online the website is all in french you have to scroll through the site till you find the link for an English menu. Once you click on that you have to download the pdf file then fund a program to open it. Now what if a person doesn't have a smart phone, or they do not know how to go onto the internet? I find this very degrading and disrespectful to...

I’ve been to this brasserie a few times (different locations) and the food is usually amazing. This was my first time at this spot, and things started out strong—my appetizer was delicious, and everything my husband ordered was excellent.

But… my main dish, the crispy chicken Caesar salad, was a miss. The dressing tasted more like mayonnaise with bacon bits than Caesar, and the chicken didn’t feel crispy at all—more like it had been reheated in a microwave. Definitely not what I was expecting.

What surprised me most was that when I mentioned it, I wasn’t offered a replacement meal, nor was the dish taken off the bill. Not a dealbreaker, but a little disappointing.

Overall, I’d still come back for the other dishes (and maybe to steal bites off my husband’s plate 😏), but I’d highly recommend...

Have seen commercials on local television for years and since we were going to be in Granby, we decided to go. Staff are very accommodating and pleasant, but the food, that was a different story. Started with onion rings, presentation 10 out of 10, but they were greasy and had absolutely no seasoning. Burger was alright, but the fries and coleslaw completely tasteless. Lobster tail and two claws with rice: they should mention that it is a mini lobster tail, overcooked claws and flavourless rice, the dipping butter did not even taste like butter, could not even begin to tell you what it tasted like, because like everything we ordered, it was totally without flavour, without seasoning and without any...
