A&W Canada — Restaurant in Grande Prairie

I had a very disappointing experience with A&W. I ordered a Veggie Burger combo with fries and a Coke through Uber Eats under the name “Ash.” The order was incorrect, and when I contacted Uber, they refused to refund me.

I then called the A&W store directly, and a staff member told me they had noted my name and that I could come in to receive my correct combo for free. I appreciated that and went to the store the next evening around 10 PM. Since the lobby was closed, I went through the drive-thru. A kind woman at the window was ready to help me, but the manager on duty, Baby Lin, refused to give me the promised combo.

This was extremely frustrating. The poor handling of the situation and lack of accountability from the management was unacceptable.

Due to this experience, I’ll be sharing this incident in reviews from my own phone, as well as from my family and friends’ phones on a daily basis until this is resolved. I hope A&W management starts taking customer service and...

Sept 20 - 23 Stopped at this store on my way through GP. Ordered 1 mozza mushroom mama burger combo as well as a baby burger same thing no cheese on either fast forward 30 min, past beaverlodge and cheese on both burgers called the store gave them my order number off the reciept and my name they said the next time i was in town they would replace it. Fast forward a month its Oct 20 stop in to collect my burger they say they cannot find the slip in the book so i will have to produce the reciept or pay AGAIN. So because the manager cant do thier job and document thier book properly i am being put out that is garbage. Will not return...

One of my favourite restaurants in town because of the gals who work there. They seem to know all the regulars and greet you by name. The food is good for a fast food chain. Try the Beyond Meat burger if you haven't already. If you can get your hands on the MS calendars with the discount coupons, grab it! 12 dollars for over 50 dollars worth of food. And it goes to support MS. They are out of them for this year but... next year! Oh. By far the cheapest decent breakfast in town. yeah... don't go late at night though. They only have one person on staff and it takes forever through...
