Jose's Mr. Taco INC. — Restaurant in Grande Prairie

I had rave reviews of their fish tacos and finally had the chance to try them.

The good: The tortilla shells are made fresh at the restaurant, and the taste is amazing. They are light and fried to perfection. Their is a generous helping of fish in each taco, melded beautifully with the taste of the sauce and other veggies. Portion sizes are generous and three tacos was certainly filling.

The bad: The fish was a bit mushy. I'm not sure if it was the fish or the batter. It was not raw. It was fully cooked, but not as firm as I prefer fish. I don't know if it was how it was cooked or the variety of fish, but in order to have had the optimal taste and texture, this would need slight improvement.

The atmosphere is typical of a place in a farmer's market, so be aware if you are planning dinner out, this is not the ideal place.

Overall the meal was pretty good. I would go back, but can't say that this place was miles better than any other fish...

Absolutely fantastic and authentic tacos. Fish was nice and crispy. The guacamole and the topping added a nice touch of freshness to the tacos. Very warm and welcoming service. Will definitely be going back to try the poutines and all the other good stuffs on their menu. I highly recommend supporting this...

I never ever leave reviews, but I needed to pop in quickly for this place... This is my favourite place to eat in Grande Priairie, straight up. The tacos are soooo good and the service is exceptional. If you're thinking of going to Subway or something for a quick lunch, don't!!! Go here instead, and tip...
