Wally's Kitchen — Restaurant in Grande Prairie

I waited over an hour for the delivery of my food. My food was cold when I revieced it and it was not the proper order. When I called to talk to them about it they responded with "Well can you just eat that and have a credit" I don't understand why they couldn't just verify the order before sending it out to make sure it was actually correct. When I brought that up with her she countered with "Well we are very busy and you're the first one to call with a complaint" Being busy is not an excuse to not double check to ensure the order is correct. I'm very displeased with the woman working the phone and front. As I have worked food service before. Poor customer service, poor complaint management. Prices are high for food that arrived cold and incorrect. Plus 7 dollars for delivery seems like highway robbery. I have now been waiting over an hour for them to deliver the proper order. And when I called to see if my food was on its way as it has now been an hour and 15 minutes she said "It's been an hour it will be there soon".... And that was 10 minutes ago. Extremely displeased, and I truly wish that I could leave a zero star rating. For food, timely deliver and the horrendous customer...

The person we ordered with was super friendly and efficient both when we ordered and when we called back to say what was missing. He had them deliver it promptly. However, super disappointed in the food- which we’ve had lots of other times and enjoyed. Was warned it had gone downhill- should’ve listened. Asked for no corn in anything- got corn in 2 dishes. Rice, lemon chicken and deep fried shrimp were good as usual. Shanghai noodles had some type of powdery crusty stuff on some of them, chowmein was dry and bland and the chop suey watery and flavorless. The deep fried wontons were burned and stuck together in big clumps. Such a shame; as we’d been ordering from here for years so trusted it would be good or wouldn’t...

So was 6:45 pm and wanted to order a combination dinner and was rudely told we are not doing ANY combination dinners!! Why not ?? It is on your menu!!! What a way to lose your customers! I’m only 1 person and do not feel I have to order full orders of a meal!! Thats why combination dinners are great for your single ( only 1 person )customers!! So thats ok I went to Golden Star for my combination meal!! And will continue to purchase all my Chinese food from that restaurant!! Wow just lost a customer who has been buying my Chinese food orders from Wallys for about 30 years!!! Since I have tried Wally’s again and since that girl does not seem to work there anymore this is a great place again love...
