OWNER NEEDS TO READ THIS 🚨 I went to this restaurant on 20th August night and honestly, I am shocked at the kind of “hospitality” I experienced here. 👎 There was just ONE table occupied when I came in, so the kitchen wasn’t even busy. A girl from Nepal came to serve me water. I politely asked if they still serve buffet, and instead of answering, she just mumbled something and sent another coworker. Then a short-height Punjabi girl came and said the first girl is new and doesn’t know much English. That’s fine, I had no problem with that – I just asked about buffet and told her I’d take 2 minutes for my order. BUT what happened next was completely unacceptable ❌. I waited for 10 minutes, no one showed up. Another table walked in, and that same Punjabi girl IMMEDIATELY started taking THEIR order while completely ignoring me. I ended up waiting 12–15 minutes and still NO ONE bothered to take my order. Meanwhile, I could clearly see 3 servers just standing around doing nothing and even giving off rude, careless gestures. When I finally decided to leave, not a single staff member cared enough to ask why I was leaving or apologize. The arrogance and ignorance here is beyond words. 🤦♂️ ⚠️ I didn’t even get to try the food because of this disgusting service. But if the staff doesn’t respect or value customers, what’s the point of serving food at all?
Message to the Owner 👉 Your staff really needs SERIOUS training in basic manners, customer service, and hospitality. If this is how you treat customers when the restaurant is EMPTY, I can’t imagine how bad it would be on...

I have eaten in countless restaurants in my life, but this experience was honestly shameful.
On August 20th night, the restaurant was almost empty, yet I was completely ignored. A Nepali girl brought water and, understandably, struggled with my buffet question. That’s totally fine—I know English may not be her first language, and I respect that. I have no problem at all with language barriers and appreciate anyone trying their best.
However, after she sent a short-height Punjabi girl who said she was new, I politely said I will take just 2 mins for my order, but nobody came back. Instead, the same girl went to take another table’s order while I waited for over 10 minutes. Three other staff members stood idly by, doing nothing. Not one person came to check on me or even offered an apology when I finally left.
👉 Message to the Owner: I see the effort from your staff trying to serve customers despite language challenges, which I respect. But the lack of attention, professionalism, and basic courtesy from other staff is unacceptable. This kind of service will only get worse if not addressed. Please train your team—customers deserve respect, patience, and proper service, no matter...
Read moreHaven’t been to this spot since pre pandemic when it was still named Taj. They did good work then and they’re still doin it today.
Originally from BC where the curry competition is pretty fierce and Royal curry can compete. I went for the lamb curry this round and I’m glad that I did. Lamb was tender and curry flavourful. Only thing, if you like heat, order spicy. I’m a fan of heat but kinda soft so I decided to play it safe and go with medium, and I could’ve gone hotter.
Fish Pakora is a personal favourite and they do it correct.
Also, I recommend that you do yourself a favour and put away the utensils, order extra garlic naan and use it to shovel everything into your face. As well, set aside some nap time for afterwards because they make sure that...
