Twisters Pizza — Restaurant in Grande Prairie

New to Grande Prairie so I highly relay on reviews and I religiously give honest reviews. Super upset tonight. Normally don’t order out every day, but today was a busy day and my husband was coming home from work and wanted a donair!

Due to the time of day, I decided to try a new pizza spot rather then Swan which is our go to here in GP since moving.

Ordered from twisters, paid over $50 for a medium pizza & donair. Was super excited for my husband to get home and he was excited for his meal.

The donair didn’t show up. I called the store and they said the driver had taken it, and I was given no resolution. So I was left, one missing my order. Two missing money I paid for that donair, and three not a good taste in my mouth for Twisters as they’re customer service experience was not good at showing empathy towards a customer.

It was my to go place for donair, especially when previous owner or Indian guy at customer service. I went to get Donairs and new owner lady was there. She came from inside and touching the bread/pita without gloves. I asked her that they don’t use gloves here. She said that she is making it for someone else and it’s not my order. Then she put gloves on and preparing food plus touching cash machine and getting pop can out/touching different surfaces. I tried to mention that it defeats the purpose when one has gloves on and still touching different surfaces other than food place. She didn’t like that and said that it’s her place and she can work as she wants to. Ok fine. I’m not going there anymore if they can’t keep food clean, at least infront of the customer. She was rude in her customer...

Yuck. Foul food. Watched the owner use a pair of tongs to grab raw chicken... then as I was waiting about 10 minutes... watched him use the same pair of thong 5 minutes later WITHOUT washing them to serve cooked chicken. Calling health board on them but... when they very least expect it. This is your warning to smarten the hell up amd get your restraun5 in order befor ei call cause that is not ok. Yuck. I'm a young person and know better then that. Goopy sloppy raw chicken juices on your cooked chicken wings... I want to get sick. Change you ways twisters!
