Great Lakes Pizza Co — Restaurant in Greater Sudbury

First time I ever try this pizza and probably the last, hardly any cheese on one pizza, a bit more on the other which I paid for extra cheese and pepperoni. You take one bite and all the toppings come off, your left with dough and sauce slice. Nothing special about this pizza place, like most of these pizza joints in Sudbury. I’ll keep trying till I find a pizza place that makes really good pizza. Price is not the issue. If your going to sell pizza, make sure it’s delicious and charge approximately to make a profit. I don’t mind paying $100 for two large pizza, but they should taste good and reflect the great Italian traditions of making pizza. I don’t want to be a complainer but I find a lot of eateries, burgers , pizza etc the quality of what you get is not worth it so I’ll keep cooking more at home like a lot of people are doing now because the food tastes better. A little friendliness goes along way also. What makes a business better starts with the people working there. Go visit a pizza business that’s been there for 50 years and you’ll know what service is. If you CARE about the work you do, and the people you serve, it shows in the repeat business you’ll get. Nothing special about this pizza place. Pizza starts with fresh dough, sauce, cheese and pepperoni, the rest is optional. If one of those four toppings is missing, you can call it pizza but it’s won’t be that good. So I’ll be like a lot of people who in our busy schedule sometimes settle for these so call pizza joints. I don’t think if picky, I’m not cheap , I expect good quality and the price is not as important. So I’ll try a different pizza place next time, maybe Don’s pizza, I haven’t tried them and a bunch of others. It’s tough being in business but the basics of running one is the start of success. My 90year old parents ordered a pizza as they regularly do from the regent street location on Saturday night and had it delivered Pizza ordered was a pepperoni bacon onions and cheese. Pizza delivered was a pepperoni, sausage green peppers bacon mushrooms. It was so soggy and falling apart it was basically inedible. We returned to the store the next day with the entire pizza minus a slice . I was greeted by a young employee who was incredibly rude. Admitted they make mistakes on busy nights and it simply wasn’t their problem. I said we always order pizzas and they are good but this was the wrong pizza, and it was so wet from over toppings the doe was raw. He was rude and said “not our problem, we are just employees” they started to take photos of the bottom of the pizza saying sorry not our problem.

He suggested my 90 year old parents should have brought it back. They don’t drive i told him. Again not his problem. So I asked for his name, managers name and head office as I was filing a complaint, rudely he said he wasn't giving us his name and there is no head office and he didn’t care as they are just employees no managers

So they took the entire pizza back and said your problem not ours. And I could leave nothing will Be done about it Worst service, rudest employees. There appeared to be a manager but this teenager was the mouthpiece and appeared to enjoy telling me off Never will we ever buy from this location again as their is no accountability and they got the pizza back as well They lost from our family alone at least 3-4 XL co pizzas a month Again…. On a road trip, stopped for a sleep over in Sudbury, last night about 7:30...from MB we were looking for a diff spot to eat, so thought we'd try this unfamiliar pizza place... We ordered two medium pizza's with 2 toppings on each, and cheese sticks. We got the pizzas in the 15 min, and when I asked for the bread sticks.. The tall young man who had taken my order said, SORRY, it was his fault but he hadn't made them, and started them while the pizzas got cold.... Sitting there I read a sign saying their special was 2 Med pizzas with up to six toppings for 26.99, and I had paid over 29$ plus tax, so I questioned the same young man about that.... He said.... SORRY! I didn't even think about that! So, I asked him to adjust my bill and he said, SORRY I can't do a refund! Then about 20 min later, he handed me the cheese sticks and said he put in an extra dip for the cheese sticks b/c of the wait.. After 8 hrs of driving, I thought no I'm SORRY I...
