I recently visited Dspot Cafe, but unfortunately, my experience was quite disappointing. I arrived at the cafe half an hour before closing time, and the employee who greeted me did not have a welcoming expression on their face. It seemed like they were unhappy about my late arrival.

To my surprise, when I asked for a milkshake and waffles, the employee informed me that they were unable to make either of them. This was quite disheartening as these items are typically part of a cafe's regular menu. I couldn't help but wonder why a cafe would stay open until late if they couldn't provide essential offerings.

Based on my experience, I would not recommend this particular location of Dspot Cafe. If the cafe is unable to offer a reasonable selection of items close to closing time, it would be more sensible for them to close earlier. It's disappointing to have high expectations when visiting a cafe, only to be met with limited options and an unwelcoming atmosphere.

very disappointed with the dspot guelph location service. This is my second time receiving very poor service from guelph location. First time i ordered the enlighten me and create own crepe. enlighten me was flooded with syrup and sauce. Thought of complaining but neglected it as i used to be a regular customer of dspot at lebovic ave,scarborough and always looked for dspot whenever craving for desserts as it never disappointed me. i used to receive very good service from lebovic and bay st location.

But the second time also , very bad experience from guelph location. i ordered 2 croffles, dark choco and treat me. and my friend ordered cookie butter. it was poorly packed. when i received it the icecream container lid was opened and it was all over the bag. not only that ,same as before treat me was flooded with cherry and white sauce.. couldnt even eat because of the loaded syrup.. Wondering if the staff wanted to finish the bottle so they dumped all in it or so.. Also i got bananas from it. i carefully checked back and none of my croffles should have banana in it. If Dspot Cafe is unable to offer such basic menu options, it begs the question of why they choose to remain open until late. It seems futile to operate during those hours if they cannot meet customers' expectations.

Considering my experience, I would not recommend this particular Dspot Cafe location. The lack of a friendly and welcoming atmosphere, coupled with the inability to serve popular menu items, diminishes the overall appeal of the establishment. I am confident that there are other cafes that can provide a more satisfying and enjoyable experience...
