Update - I wrote the review below. - year ago and gave it 5 starts but since then, there has been new ownership and management and we already noticed some changes. The menu provides a lot more options which is nice but my favourite pub dish, the chicken yorkie is no longer available. We were disappointed at our last visit with our meal. Shakey’s has one of the best Cesar salads, with large bread croutons and large pieces of bacon. We normally get a large as an appetizer but ordered them as sides with our mains. The salad was so disappointing, it was drenched in dressing and the croutons were the little ones that look like they came out of a packet and we both got less than 4 small bacon pieces. Also, I ordered the chicken on a bun, with marinara sauce and a side Cesar salad and the chicken was so dry, I only ate half and we both left our salads. We have loved this place for over 20 years and hope to give it another chance but my feedback to the owner is add the favourites back on the menu and please keep the quality of taste that we have enjoyed for years.

Last year: My husband and I are foodies and this place has been one of our favourites for over 20 years. They have a great selection of beers on tap and the food is excellent. They have cross track fries which can made into nachos, so amazing! I love a good Yorkshire pudding and the Yorkie bowl is one of my favourites. I find it has a real pub feel and the service is always excellent. Lastly, the Patio is great, with a mix of sun and shade and you can’t even tell it’s facing a parking lot. This is definitely on our best list for places to eat. I can’t believe it’s taken me over 20 years to write this review! It’s the best pub in town.
