Double Rainbow Cafe — Restaurant in Guelph

I’ve loved this place since the first time I was invited here by a friend. It’s a small, intimate setting yet still manages to be a great atmosphere featuring delicious food and drink (including their unique “shrub” drinks), locally-made goods, artwork, and many plants. It’s especially cool that a lot of the fresh herbs used in the weekend sammies as well as the mint tea are grown right there.

The absolute best part is the company you’ll find, though. I can’t speak highly enough of the owner, Kim, who has always been such a welcoming and interesting presence. She is truly a community-minded person who strives to have zero waste along with featuring local makers. The regulars are always interesting and engaging to be around, and just as eager to learn your name as Kim and the baristas.

When I walked into Double Rainbow Cafe the staff were all so welcoming and friendly. I felt so comfortable and welcome right when I got there. The atmosphere of Double Rainbow Cafe is so cozy, warm and welcoming. The service is exceptional and everything came very quick and prompt. The food is delicious and yummy. Their coffee was very fresh and so good, best coffee I’ve ever tried. The location is in a quiet area that’s perfect for studying or just a snack break. Right near downtown, easy access and walkable distance. I would definitely recommend stopping by the Double Rainbow Cafe. It’s one hundred percent a 10/10 cafe and deserves way more hype. Charming little coffee shop I stumbled upon. Whimsical decor inside from local artists and very welcoming atmosphere by the owner or friendly customers chatting together inside & ouside on patio chairs basking in the sunshine on the lot.

The chai tea latte and handmade fresh baked goods are made with perfection. Prices are great and affordable. Quiet area to sit outside and chat with friends or continue on your walk in the area. Such a happy little...
