We ordered a pizza and went to the store for pickup. When we were there we asked about the size of the brushetta. The person showed us the size of the baguette. We decided to get it. He told us it was $7 and I was sure it was cheaper online. We ordered online and picked it up a few minutes later. Then we drive home with both the pizza and brushetta.
At home we open the brushetta and there are literally 20 small pieces of tomato on it. You could barely see them. The picture online is loaded, I mean loaded with brushetta mix. I was so disappointed that I called customer service.
The first person I got at customer service said that I would have to return with the product. I mentioned that I was just home with my pizza and couldn't get it again. They said their policy is that the original product has to be returned if they are to replace or refund. I sent them a picture of what I received and they agreed that the wasn't enough tomatoes. But there was nothing they could do. Then she said something about getting a dollar back... For a $5 plus tax item. I asked for the manager.
The manager reiterated that the product would have to be returned for replacement or refund and agreed that I could bring the item back the next day for a refund.
The next day comes around. I go to the store and the person refuses to refund, and they raise their voice at me. I showed him the picture from the website and his response is that that is just a picture, not what you get. Customer service at the store is non-existing. I then mentioned that customer service told me I could come back today for the refund. He refused to do it. So I called customer service again.
Apparently this manager David that took my call the night before did not put any note on my file. The person who answered did see my emailed picture and agreed it was not brushetta. She put me on hold to discuss with the store. The store then agreed to give me back $5 but not the tax. At this point I'm like, fine.
I should also add that all three of us that ate the pizza were not feeling well last night. Not sure what happened, but I would definitely, DEFINITELY NOT recommend this store. We will NOT be ordering from...
Read moreI love 5 minutes away. Delivery driver showed up after waiting over an hour and a half woth an ice cold pizza, and the wrong drinks. Car loaded with friends while working. My first call to complain i was left on hold for over 5 minutes. Had to call back 2 more times to speak with someone. Gave my info for the owner to call me so i could discuss my complaint. Never recieved a call. When i call the owner is never there. I would order ginos twice a week on average. I will never be ordering from ginos again. When i lived on the west end, i never had a single issue with the silvercreek location.
Edit I decided to give them a second chance and order it again I received potato wedges instead of jalapeno poppers so I went and called head office instead of the store then I get a phone call saying that they are out of jalapeno poppers and that they tried to call me previously but they didn't get through funny that they got through this time to inform me that had no jalapeno poppers when head office was having them rush them out to me then offered me some store credit which I refused telling them this is the last time I will be ordering from them and want my money back. When the driver got here to refund my money they had the audacity to ask for the wedges. save your money and don't bother ordering from here. Wish i could give less...
Read moreI recently ordered pizza at Gino’s on Stone Rd in Guelph. The sign said it was under new management and I thought it was time to give it a try again. Over the last few years the quality of their pizza had deteriorated to the point that I stopped ordering from the store. The new owners, mom and her 2 sons, were great. Very friendly and welcoming to the store as soon as you walk in. The store was very clean. In the past it looked unkept at times. The pizza was ready on time, cooked as I had requested, a bit well done to make the crust a little crispier. The dough seemed to be very fresh and the sauce was delicious. It seemed a bit different. The customer flow was steady. If you haven’t had Gino’s Pizza from this location give it a try! If you had been turned off this location come back and try it again for the first time with...
