I'm currently at the location went right to the till to get my burger replaced. I ordered food through the drive through tonight around 9:15 to get a QP with no cheese extra onion and extra pickles. The sandwich came as a regular burger with cheese and barely any pickles or onions.
I called in and explained the situation and everything went fine and I was give in a replacement code. Afterwards I had someone from the location call me back to confirm what had happened and was told I could still come get the mistake fixed.
Now over an hour of my time was waisted just to come in give the code and then I was informed that they would not fix the mistake without the recipe. (I had voiced that I did not have the receipt any longer during both phone calls.)
What a complete waist of time I would not have come back if they had of told me they would not have replaced the meal.
As I have been writing this review I had another employee approach me just to start an arguments about the sandwich. Literally saying she could replace my burger and that it would not be an issue and that she could give out a bunch of burgers and the replacement was not an issue, just to tell me what her issue is with my replacement.....
All of this just to be pulled into an argument where she all of a sudden got a manager just to rehash everything again for what reason, I do not know. When I said she did not even need to restart the conversation she pivoted and said she did so because the dine in was closing. To which I responded with "If you had of just started by saying ,Sir our dine in is closed now." I would have simply exited the store instead of having a pointless rehashing of why my burger would not be fixed.
The most frustrating part was being spoken at with questions and when I tried to respond the female employee would continuously cut me off and speak over me not allowing me to give a complete answer to the point I had to say "May I be allowed to give a complete answer before you cut me off again?" And that's what finally allowed me to end the conversation and exit the store as the manager she grabbed and I clearly understood that once the first interaction at the till was complete a 2nd rehashing of the event never needed to occur.
It did feel that the female employee for whatever reason was power tripping I was being clear with my statements and in her confusion she claimed that my statement was a contradiction. At least the manager seemed to understand what I had said and agreed that No contradiction had occured.
What a stressful evening that never needed to go as far as it did. When the conversation ends don't engage with the customer again for literally no reason. Saying you could easily replace the burger yet you won't for "reasons". Being extremely rude just for the sake of it.......
Read moreI had a very bad experience with drive thru at this location. We just finish our Santa session at Crock A Doodle Guelph South at 01:44:10 pm. My daughter want to eat happy meal. So I decided to take her to McDonald's. I was waiting for 20 minutes on a line to order. I come up to the first order screen. Said hello.. waiting there, no answer. I decided to drive to the next order screen. Same thing. No answer. When i get to the first window, I told the young man who work there that i need to place my order because there is no answer when i tried to place my order. His response was "you supposed to say hello!" I told him that I did. My daughter says the same thing too. She is only 6 years old. He refused to take my order and told me to go through the drive thru all over again. I told him, "Are you kidding me after I waited almost half an hour!" So I have to move on. On my way out from the drive thru. I see a young woman who is delivering the order to the car that is waiting on #1 spot. I told her briefly of what happened. She told me to park my car at #3 spot and if I can give her my order and she will go in and get the order for me. So I give her my credit card and my phone because it has the barcode for $3.99 sandwich deal. I also have camera inside my car that recorded everything. So we wait for the order. The manager come out and bring out my order. She was being very rude. Im surprised to see how rude she behaved. I worked in drive thru before at another fast food industry. Being a manager in the past, I am very disgusted on the way she approached me. She told me that I put her employee on tears. Telling me that I should have go in or go around the drive thru to place my order. What kind of manager behavior is that? I told her that its not my first time to go through drive thru. I've been living in Canada for more than 20 years. Today is not my first time to order from drive thru. I told her to give all my order along with my credit card and phone back as I need to go home to Scarborough which it will take me more than 2 hours to get home. My daughter even asked me, why do they hate us mommy? They don't even want to take our order eventhough we keep saying Hello. How do you want me to explain that to my daughter. She saw everything. The way the manager talking to me. Very...
Read moreI've never left a bad review before, but after my experience last night I felt I needed to write one.
I am a very patient person, but I will never be going to this McDonalds again and will be advising everyone I know to stay away from it. Terrible customer service, and the workers seemed far more intent in giggling and goofing off than getting orders right or ensuring that food wasn't handed out the window in a sloppy manner.
Went to this McDonalds around 12:30 am for a late-night tea and some ice cream, simple order. When we reached the menu board, the screens went blank, so we couldn't see the menu at all. The worker asked for my order, which I recited to her. It was a simple order of tea with milk and one McFlurry - there was a lot of laughing through the speaker and the worker had to ask for our order three times, and would say multiple things as if she wasn't paying attention to what we were ordering. She told us to pull up to the window.
When we got to the window, the worker seemed surprised, and asked if we had even ordered, in a bit of a rude manner. I said yes, and repeated our order. Apparently our order hadn't been taken by the person who we talked to at the menu board earlier in the drive thru. After repeating my order three times again to the window worker, we were finally able to pay and move forward. The McFlurry we were handed was coated on the outside in melted ice cream, which made a mess of my car and my partner. We were not provided with any napkins, so we were stuck with dripping dairy all over everything.
Lastly, and worst of all, the tea I received was absurdly hot. When I went to drink it, steaming water, literally just below boiling temperature, got all over me, leaving very painful and red burns all over my legs which promptly ended my evening in a very unpleasant manner. This was my fault as the lid popped off with more force than intended when I was trying to get it to cool off, but there is no reason for liquid that hot to be provided to customers. It isn't drinkable at that temperature and is...
