My first impression of this Tim Hortons location was extremely disappointing at best, due to a number of factors including dysfunctional drive-thru layout, extremely long wait time, poor product quality and exceptionally sloppy presentation.
To be more specific, I entered the restaurant's small parking lot from its Paisley Road entrance and was immediately taken aback by the extremely tight left hand turn required to enter the drive-thru lane. In a relatively small car, with minimal traffic surrounding me, this proved to be a uncomfortable task. I can't imagine how a mid or full sized pickup truck would manage this inconvenient maneuver with any ease whatsoever.
My second complaint came merely seconds later as I rolled down my vehicle's window, ready to shout my order in the direction of the poorly positioned drive-thru speaker, when it occurred to me that the extreme level of traffic noise being projected from the nearby roadway made it nearly impossible to hear the staff member attempting to take my order. I find it difficult to believe that the individuals tasked with the simple duty of designing the drive-thru's layout lacked the foresight to identify this as a potential problem. I have visited several dozen Tim Hortons locations and have never noticed a flaw of this particular nature.
After finally shouting loud enough to compete with passing traffic, I placed my order consisting of just one item āan Iced Cappā and was not informed of the price or given the instruction to proceed to the window. Despite there being only one vehicle ahead of me in line and none behind me, it took approximately 7 minutes to receive my single beverage.
My beverage, a sticky excuse for an Iced Cappuccino dripping with white cream from all perceivable angles of its exterior, was a long awaited disappointment. I was in disbelief as the staff member handed me a plastic cup, its contents overflowing with what looked to be brown syrup, for I could not understand what possessed this individual to think that handing this disgruntled mess to a customer was an acceptable thing to do. I would have been happy to wait while the obviously inexperienced employee paused and remade the beverage in a more cleanly fashion. I don't believe I should have been required to use several napkins, not provided to me by the restaurant staff, to repair an extensive disaster before consuming a simple beverage in my vehicle. Surely a large corporation has the resources to mix a blended coffee beverage with more efficiency than this.
I don't blame the on duty staff for this experience being so unfathomably unsatisfying, as it seemed they were genuinely trying their best, but rather the obvious lack of support from poor management.
Perhaps this location was a little too hasty to open its doors to the public and this is apparent in virtually every part of the transaction process.
I have generously awarded this establishment with a 1-star rating, as it seems 0 stars is not currently an option available...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI have never been more disgusted and embarrassed in my life! I drink 2 to 3 coffees a day, everyday & would go to this location loyally. every time I would order I would let the employees keep the change which would usually be around 25 cents, so this particular visit i ordered my coffee like usual but this time I was short 3 cents. I figured since I'm there 2-3 times a day, everyday & I let them keep my change. They would be okay allowing me to bring the 3 cents the following Morning as I just finished work for the day, but they would not. they would not let me off the three cents, the employee told me to go look in the parking lot & I would be able to find it out there. I am so disgusted!! I worked for Tim Hortons bullfrog mall location for about a year and I've worked in customer service for over 10 years & to lose such a loyal customer that always pays extra getting coffee after a long day at work over 3 cents. it's just the worst business decision I have no idea how he has his job. So I left with no coffee & so embarrassed. I went to the next Tim Hortons down the road on Wellington and Imperial I told the employee there what happened, & they gave me my coffee completely free of charge. they were so disgusted at what had happened. so disgusted that they paid for my entire coffee that day. I will never ever return to this location! I go 10 minutes past to the next Tim Hortons...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreThis is my go to tim Hortons, I've been going here since they opened. Multiple times a day, spend a great deal of money here every week. I want to give them a 5 star rating but I don't always receive 5 star service. The staff here are wonderful, hard working, polite and very efficient. But the management is absolutely horrible! The two ladies are always very bitter, snappy, don't smile, don't make eye contact, and respond rudely almost all the time. Never a thank you, one worded answers, even thier greeting when they take your order is cold. Anyone who works there knows my voice, my car and my order. They also know I always ask for my coffee well stirred cause a lot of the times the sugar is just sitting at the bottom.. when the management is taking orders and I asked for it well stirred, they usually don't pass on the request or they will make my coffee and not put any sugar in it. Then I'm stuck with 2 crappy coffees that I just throw out. In the last week the attitude has gotten worse as to why I'm now deciding to leave a review, and won't be getting coffee at that location in the mornings anymore. I'll wait till the afternoon shift starts. Its sad that they have such a great staff that get belittled by these management ladies. I praise the employees who still go to work everyday and do a great job!...
