Outstanding First Visit to Bravado

My husband and I tried Bravado for the first time and were both highly impressed by every aspect of the experience — from the food and wine to the service and ambiance. We ordered the string beans, cod cheeks, scallops crudo, sourdough bread with leek and herb butter, and tried both dessert options. Every dish was extremely flavourful and thoughtfully prepared.

One thing to note: the menu online may differ from what’s offered in person, as it changes regularly — but that’s part of the charm.

First time at Bravado Wine Bar. It was smaller then I thought it would be but nicely done. The waitress was very good. She was quick to sit and serve us. She definitely new her wines as she recommended wine for us both and nailed it. We decided to share since there was only 2 of us. We started with a selection of cheeses which was really nice. Then we had the a salad and the steak with peppercorn sauce which was amazing. The only disappointment was the menu on line was not what was on the menu when we got there. Bravado Wine Bar set the tone for an unforgettable evening. The scallops, tuna, and Double Double were absolutely delicious thoughtfully plated and full of flavour. My dining partner had a lovely glass of white wine, and I sipped on a Paper Plane and a Manhattan, both perfectly balanced. The staff were attentive without being intrusive, and the atmosphere felt intimate and had a great feel. It’s the kind of place that makes a night feel special....
