Cheese Curds Gourmet Burgers + Poutinerie — Restaurant in Halifax

One of the best burger restaurants around - they are known for their very creative burger and poutine options (Thai chili poutine is a must try!) and excellent mexican food! And the best part is the customization - whether you order a burrito or burger or anything else, the variety of toppings and sauces you can choose from easily beats out a place like Subway or Harvey's.

I've eaten here many times and never once have I had a bad experience - food quality is always top notch and service is fast and friendly. They are fancy fast food - and I mean that in the best way possible as you won't wait too long and the price for value has been consistently high in my experience. I also recommend ordering online via their website - extremely user friendly, offers same order customization as in-store, and they will notify you when your order is ready for pickup (along with first giving you an estimated time the order will be done) - really convenient!

They also often have a special burger of the month and participate in burger week with always-inventive creations. I'm very glad we have such a great restaurant in the neighborhood and if you've not gone - please make sure you do! Guaranteed...

Surprisingly expensive and slow for mediocre food.

Stopped here for some fast food on the way home from work. Ordered a burger and regular poutine and a drink, and was blown away when they gave me the total of $25. Checked to make sure my order was right and I didn't accidentally order 2 meals. Nope, that was the price for my order. Then was handed a small bottle of pop and told to wait at the end of the counter to wait for my order. I stood behind the 1 person that was ahead of me for 20 minutes while it looked like the staff prepared food for online orders for people who were not there to pick up. So myself and the 1 other person in the restaurant were made to wait while they made food for others who weren't there and still weren't when we got our food. 20 minute wait for 1 burger and 1 poutine.

The food was ok, better than most other fast food but definitely not worth $25 and a 20 minute wait.

I would highly recommend ordering from a good pub or diner to get a better quality burger for half the price and...

The fries were crispy, decently slathered in gravy and cheese curds were mixed throughout. We ordered the Triple Bacon Poutine which came with a nice amount of perfectly cooked bacon. This is possibly the best poutine we've ever eaten and we will definitely be back for more. We also ordered the Monster Mozzarella Crunch Burger, however the mozzarella was 1/2 the radius of the bun and 1/2 the width we were expecting from the picture. In fact we couldn't even taste the cheese and we're both really big cheese lovers. We were very displeased and the burger was nowhere near being worth the price or the title of Monster Mozzarella. We will probably only order the poutine again, but if we do give the burger another shot it will hopefully be one that actually...
