We had a family party there during lunch hours. The service was quite slow for the amount of people that were in the restaurant. There were tables that came in after that ate and left before we got all our food from our first order. We had waited over 90 minutes and finished our other food and our rice and noodles still hadn't been served. I had asked multiple times during the meal and every time they said it'll only be another couple minutes. Another 20 minutes later I asked again and I was told "the noodles take longer to cook so we didn't have time to make it." Followed by letting me that IF I still wanted the food that they can start making it then. It's ridiculous that 2 hours later that they now tell us they didn't even bother to start the food that I asked about at least 3 times. The rice was then brought out right away but it was very undercooked and dry. On top of that, they bill you for a service charge, which is not the most ethical given that 1. They do not inform you so, so that you don't double tip. 2. Tipping is also not mandatory. For that kind of service, I would like to have an option to tip what I want. The food was not flavourful and the service and experience was unpleasant for the...
Read moreOverall, a pretty good AYCE sushi place.
This place is a bit cheaper than the other AYCE places I've seen around so I was worried but the sushi is quite good. There's not as much selection in the kitchen (non-sushi) items and what they had not really the best (The kalbi was definitely overdone/old and they didn't have any chicken wings, which I know isn't really japanese but every sushi place I go to has them) but who goes to an ayce sushi place for the nonsushi ?
What mattrrs is the sashimi itself was fresh and the sushi was well made and good. One of the best places ive seen around here for fresh ayce sashimi. Tea comes complimentary which I haven't seen anywhere as of yet which was nice (reminded my of Toronto sushi places).
This may be my go to spot for AYCE sushi from now on (Genji sushi is top notch as well. Probably a bit better overall but a bit more expensive and notably quite a bit further away from where...
Read more1/10 I couldn't even recommend this place to my worst enemy.
Me, my wife, and my roommate stopped by tonight and none of us had even a slightly good experience. The place was empty but it looks like its just being run by a Husband and wife and their kid out back.
The food was some of the worst quality sushi i have ever had and everything we tried had this really weird tainted taste to it. All the meat was extremely tough and i did end up chipping a tooth on the "steak" cubes.
They are obviously having issues competing with competitors and it makes sense as they charge $25 plus a hidden convenience fee of what they said was $2.50 but after doing the math was closer to $5 each.
Please whatever you do and no matter how desperate you are, do not go here ever. Please just let this place go out...
