Heard about this place through the grapevine of Halifax. Walked in and immediately loved the atmosphere, a welcome and warm sight given the current weather. The place was quiet, smelled lovely, and nothing short of pleasant. There are two menus, and both are high quality, though I recommend putting apprehension aside to allow yourself the chance to appreciate just how wonderful Chinese cuisine is. this restaurant used to go under the name of a different chinese restaurant, but they did a whole rebranding. i was quite dissatisfied with the food, and i only came here because of all the good reviews. to me, the food was tasteless, bland, and had no inkling of flavour.

the steamed dumplings were the worst dumplings i have ever had, i make better dumplings at home. the meat in the dumplings did not even have any green onion or spices in them (i opened one up to look). they were just pasty...

Got there, order was late getting done. Left over food on tables that had been clearly sitting there for a while. Gave me no cutlery, no sauce on sweet and sour chicken balls, and on top of all that, probably some of the worst Chinese food I have ever had. The fried rice was dry with zero flavour, literally if I were blind folded I’d think I was eating dry plain white rice. The chicken balls and general tao chicken were just as bland and dry.
