Mezza Lebanese Kitchen — Restaurant in Halifax

To the lady working at the front during a closing shift on the night of Monday, March 18th, 2019 between the hours of 7-8PM, you should be ashamed of yourself. You should not be working in customer service if you are DELIBERATELY being rude and providing terrible customer service. You made my friend cry when preparing her order. We both work in the mall and are in customer service and even if we weren’t - no one needs to be to understand RESPECT. My friend was kind in asking you to take her through all the steps in preparing the roll since she is unfamiliar and instead of doing so, which is part of your job, you huffed and puffed, gave her dirty looks and spoke to her with an extremely rude tone. You gave her several pieces of lettuce and one tomato. When she POLITELY asked for more lettuce and tomatoes, you looked at her like she was asking for gold, picked up LITERALLY ONE PIECE OF LETTUCE and ONE tomato and put it on. When she asked if you could put more sauce, you put on one stingy strip. She told you that she didn’t mind paying extra for more sauce, so what did you do? You drowned her roll in the sauce. You went against everything she asked, which is everything that is part of your job description. No one should ever have to leave crying because of service they were provided - SERVICE THAT WAS PAID FOR. I’m never one to complain, but this is absolutely unacceptable and definitely not the first time this employee at the MEZZA AT THE HALIFAX SHOPPING CENTER has treated a customer this way. To the management at this location - please look into the way your employees are providing service. You don’t need to be the most knowledgeable, you only...

This place was one of my top 3 for donair s in Halifax. Mezza which used to be Venus has gone down hill. I will never eat at this location or any other location after today's experience. I ordered a large donair with the works and what I received was by far my worst donair experience. I opened up the tin foil only to find that the tomatoes were like mush and skins were wilted they had the consistency of a slushy you would buy at a gas station. The meat was chunky and burnt like it was poorly shaved and chopped from the last bit on the spit, then refrigerated then reheated and forgot about and burnt. No sign of sauce which is the best part only a pool of Greece that water logged my pita bread. If I did not have my child with me I would have returned it. It has been 5 hours and I am still regretting this experience. The way things are looking I still may return in a plastic bag it if it comes back up. Awful awful awful I only gave it a 1 as it was a top 3 place for me...

The lady serving customers and the delivery drivers today- 2023-02-21 at 11,45 am is highly unprofessional, rude and disrespectful. While I picked up this morning, the lady told me clearly that the meal would be ready in 15 minutes. I waited for over 20 minutes, yet she kept claiming that the food was not ready and that she waited for the chicken to be ready from the kitchen. When I persisted, the lady proceeded to pack the food- all that lay infront of her all that time. Nothing needed to be brought from the kitchen, as it was already there while I walked in. I just need someone to follow up about this and get back to me if am lying or not....and if any action has been taken. Please treat customers well- not based on their looks or skin...
