Apparently they ask for your contact information , looks good.......But they dont contact you!!!!!!
This an email I sent to Stephanie Cox. I was treated rudely because I have complained in the past. I love Pizza Delight but not this one.
Email:: Bayers Lake Franchise Hi we have communicated before. I have been a dedicated Pizza Delight customer for many years, having lived in Moncton and ordering from your franchses there. I am writing once again about the pizza delight in Bayers Lake in Halifax. I have ordered here frequently over the past 10 years I'm Halifax (most orders would have been under my old phone number 902 86------- as I work in the park. Lately the orders have been wrong or not cooked properly. A few weeks ago I ordered a LG super Donair and a regular sized one. We found the donair meet to be undercooked and slimy. I called the store and was asked to bring it in. I advised that I would drop it off the next day which I did. I was advised at that time that they would place it on the managers desk and someone would call me. I didn't not hear from anyone so I called and was told to call back on Tuesday. I called and spoke to a gentleman who informed me that they had prepared a new order for me but I did not pick it up. I advised what had happened when I returned the order and that I was not advised of any replacement being prepared.....I was dropping the order off prior to my work shift.. ... so he said I could pick up a replacement at 4 pm that day. I work past 4pm so advised that wouldn't be possible....so he offered it at 4 pm the following day.....I advised I would try but it could be later....he said they would make the order when I came in. I worked til after 9 pm that day .....then came down with covid. When I called last week they advised they had already made the replacement order twice but I didn't show up to pick it up either time......this came as a surprise so I asked to speak to the manager but was told the manager was busy, I inquired if the manager was in and they advised that they were. So I drove there to talk to the manager. When I arrived less than 3 min later I was advised that the manager was not in.
First of all I live alone and cannot eat a LG and a regular donair by myself. 2nd I don't see where I should be inconvenienced by being told when I have to pick up a replacement order when it wasn't cooked. It's not like we ate it, I brought them both back. So I'm out over 30 some dollars and have nothing to show for it, plus I was treated with no respect when I tried to communicate.
I assure you that I will not be placing any additional orders from. This particular pizza delight and I encourage you to inquire as to why they are frequently getting orders wrong (I can't be the one having issues) why they run out of salads to accompany the orders and do not bother to advise and then don't start your order til you show up to pick it up because they are out of pasta salad. Why the food is sometimes not cooked enough, why it can take an hour for an order to be ready and last bit not least why customers are not treated with respect.
I have not complained every time I order there but I certainly do when I don't get what I paid for. Your prices are higher than most but I don't mind paying for the food I prefer.....
The girl who I spoke with on the phone and in person was far from polite and very difficult to communicate with as she continuously...
Read moreBUYER BEWARE After being a loyal pizza delight customer since the quinpool road location in the 1980's, I am disappointed and disgusted with the service that we received from this franchise. We were so disappointed when this location closed and we traveled to other locations. We were super happy when this location re opened as it is closer to home. Our problem started when we ordered a pizza combo and super donairs. I made it quite clear to the girl who took order one pizza cheese only as it is the only thing my grandson will eat. Upon arriving home we realized all pizzas had the works on them and my grandson was left with nothing to eat. I called right away and same girl who took the order seemed to have difficulty understanding English told me she could replace it but to come on a weekend night when she was working. I figured her mistake maybe she has to pay towards it that's why it had to be when she was working. Next time I ordered was through the week I let it go and paid full price for my order. On July 27th which was a Saturday, I called to place a order and asked about the cheese pizza they owed us. I couldn't pick up my order this night and asked about delivery they said to use uber eats. After I placed my order I called right away and told her to add the cheese pizza that they owed to our order. There is no book for problems, was no supervisor or manager on site. After waiting for her to come back to the phone and telling me manager was in Sunday to call than, at that point I said cancel my order I don't want it if I can't get the pizza that is owed. I spent 84 that was charged to my credit card. I spent the next few days now a month calling daily trying to reach a manager or supervisor who can resolve this only to be given the run around. I have left my contact information numerous times nobody has called me. Absolutely disgusting service for a restaurant to never have anyone in charge for any problems that may arise. I never seen a business run like this after working in the bar business and managing and working every aspect of the business, there is never anyone who is in charge. Read moreI used to love Pizza Delight. This was not an exceptionally pleasant experience for us. We arrived about 5pm to a mostly empty restaurant so our party of 4 were seated quickly, but it went downhill from there.
The table was incredibly sticky, all of our paper placemats were immediately glued to the table and we tried our best not to actually touch the table as clothing was sticking to it. No one came for an initial drink order. When the waiter did arrive to take our orders we ordered everything at once. About 15 minutes later a pizza and a garlic fingers came to the table, we had no plates or cutlery, and the pizza was not one we had ordered (the pizza was brought by the hostess and we informed her immediately it was not what we ordered, she replied "the kitchen said it was yours", we insisted we did not order these toppings so she took it back, and then the waiter came back out with the same pizza and loudly exclaimed "pepperoni with cheese pizza!" as if we somehow did not recognize that? We did not order anything with pepperoni, we sent it back again)
We were finally brought plates and cutlery and soon realized the tiny table we were at was not going to fit more than a single pizza, so we asked to move to a larger table, this was accommodated with no issues, although the next table was also sticky.
The rest of our party's food was brought out and we were informed the pizza we sent back was being remade as the correct one we ordered and would be about 4 minutes.
The food was mediocre at best, crust was not crispy, it was very doughy, excessive sauce on the pizza, the donair sauce was so garlicky that it stung to eat it.
We never saw our waiter again after we finally got all of our food so there were no drinks refilled, we ended up sharing the rest of my drink.
The ladies washroom was out of toilet paper in the regular stall, and nearly out in the disabled stall, I checked the "bathroom check sheet" on the wall that shows each day and the times the bathroom is supposed to be checked and there had been no checks on the sheet for 4 days.
My son had initially wanted to have his birthday party here in October, we will definitely be going...
