Subway — Restaurant in Halifax

Terrible experience. Went last night and there were three staff, and they actually argued over who would take care of me. Place was a mess as well. To top it off I had to explain to them their own special (they tried to overcharge me) and they didn’t let me choose my bread (the person making my sandwich just chose white bread without asking). When my sandwich was finished the young guy just wrapped it up and walked away. I had to reach behind the counter to get it. Nobody asked if I wanted a bag, or gave me napkins, or asked if I wanted a drink or anything like that. Holy S@$T, these guys were rude. Btw the guy in front of me agreed, as he apparently had an even worse time than I did....

I only really have experience with this Subway location during the summer season when things at the University are much quieter than usual.

My issue with this restaurant isn't the quality of the food or service (both which are fast, efficient and friendly), but the fact that the hours are so inconvenient. Maybe it's just because of the summer, but the library stays open much later than the Subway and is right next door, so one would think they would stay open a bit later. They also open quite late in the morning.

I got a nice salad though, which wasn't slimy like I've recently had at some other Subway...

I’m not someone that’s particular at all about the service, I’m okay with anything, but good lord there has to be a limit. This morning, starving, I went there and waited in queue for a solid half hour, finally requested my order, and then I get to the sauce and veggies section. I ask the guy if he has mayo and without a second thought he sprays my food with hot sauce, wraps it and calls it a day. And on top of that, he didn’t even properly wrap it, because the minute I pulled the wrap out all the insides fell on to the floor. TERRIBLE TERRIBLE service, do...
