Camp Hill Cemetery — Local services in Halifax

A bit of a sad sight. Open old cemetery. Although it’s in the city center, it’s quiet here. I saw people come here a couple of times for a jog. The local graves are full of history... but three stars because so many of them are in very poor condition. And I’m not even talking about the fact that some texts have been almost erased (time does not spare even immortal stones), but about the fact that the graves themselves were often broken or fallen. A quiet place in the middle of the city. Opened in 1844, it's a non-denominational burying place. Many gravestones are in poor condition due to HRM's neglect. Lots of history to explore and discover.
