It's Dominos. What more is there to say? Their pizza is good, their prices are surprisingly cheap for the quality and amount you get, especially compared to other places in town. Their online ordering is the most streamlined among practically any pizza place in the Province, never mind just Georgetown, and their delivery is always very timely.
The only downside is the size and price of their gluten-free pizzas. It's locked to small size which is smaller than most places, and the price for it is very expensive relative to other places as well. The quality of it however is very good and it's difficult to tell you aren't eating normal pizza crust, which is much more than you can say for some other pizza places in town.
Unlike Pizza Nova they also don't have dairy-free cheese which is an oversight as that market is growing rapidly, however in every other way Dominos is actually pretty good.
Pro-tip: Use their online coupons (or physically mailed ones if you have 'em),...
Read moreAugust 10th- we were celebrating my son birthday and ordered 9 large pizzas from Dominoes. And all the boxes came with crumbled pizzas, we took pictures and went to the store on a Tuesday as Sunday the party was till late and then Monday we were exhausted. Thought it’s our own town’s pizza franchise could go and let them know this is what happened. They accepted it could have happened but said it was owner’s wife delivering so they will speak to him and get back the next day. No one returned the call so we called them and ask if we could speak to someone in authority. And we were replied well you can call head office at dominoes, as we don’t think this is our fault and that anyone can do this on their own. I wonder if the customer service experience can be so poor and also when someone orders 9 pizzas. Extremely disappointing...
Read moreIf I were to do this review about six months, I would have likely given them 4 or 5 stars. It appears that new management/ownership has taken over. The make-up of the staff has changed and the quality has gone down. Even something as simple as cutting the pizza slices all the way through they cannot master. Hair nets, beard nets, moustache nets are non-existent. They are not slow by any standards, but it seems that the quality has gone down. The pizza doesn't taste good. Like the other places in Georgetown that has been taken over by "new people", it's gone downhill (other examples of this include Toppers, A&W, and a few other places. Our Eastern influences in local businesses has led to leastern deterioration. On a positive note, they are still kind of fast--just tasteless and with the pizza slices all...
