Buddy's Subs — Restaurant in Hamilton

I have been going there 2-3 times a month and my last visit will be my last. Nothing to do with the subs but the service. My last visit the other day I was treated with extreme disrespect and the unprofessionalism the lady showed as I was trying to get my order correct was extremely unnecessary. Sub was made incorrectly and she told me she “assumed” it was the toppings I wanted, which was not the case. I said well you should not assume and that was it, she became rude and unprofessional. I ended up cancelling the entire order and walking out. Owner has always been good but did not speak up as this was unfolding feet away from him. Oh buddy's you offered a decent sub for a decent price! Until you jacked the prices and now you offer a decent sub at a high price . Sorry but a turkey sub on a stale bun with a can of pop and a small bag of chips for just under 14$ is ridiculous! You can't run with the big buys (subway, Mr sub ) and offer no toppings and stale buns and expect people to come back . There was a guy in front of me ordered a chicken souvlaki and large Greek salad came to 24$ wow . Guy cancelled his order and asked did you guys raise the prices?! Staff is incredibly pleasant. The sandwich artist behind the counter took her time to create an almost perfect and absolutely delicious sandwich (extra star). Footlong Club Sub - $12.42 The sub sauce may be the best in the city, great flavour! The bread is delicious, very fresh with the perfect texture to hold everything together without getting soggy. Perfect amount of veggies and sauces The only negative was I would’ve really liked to see a little more meat than this. One slice of turkey and two slices of deli ham is pretty laughable at $13. Two more slices of each meat and I could easily give 5 stars.

Will I be back? Depends, maybe if I see an updated photo on instagram of a sub with more meat...
