Woodward Restaurant — Restaurant in Hamilton

I've been going here since literally 1983, and whomever is managing it now in the recent year is letting it go completely downhill. It wasn't even busy and we waited 15 minutes for our order to be taken and 45 minutes for our food. We did not understand the delay to have our order taken. There was not a lineup waiting for tables. The girl said "I'll be there in a few minutes" and started clearing tables!!?? That makes absolutely no operational sense to me. You take care of your customers, put the order in and THEN start clearing tables when no one is even waiting for them. This restaurant used to have the best scrambled eggs anywhere. The cook just knew how to make them perfect. This time, they came overcooked to brown and yet the boiled potatoes were cold. The only thing this place has going for is the price point, but it's not much of a deal if it's a horrible experience, right? I hope this helps the management and current staff to improve (even though I don't see them in the reviews here taking accountability). I would hate to see this place go out. Get yourselves organized. It can be great again!

Went here for breakfast today, haven't been to this restaurant since I was a kid, and they really made some changes for the better of course lol. The dining area is very nice and clean. The restaurant was pretty full with customers so there was a little bit of a wait for our food, but when the food came it was well worth the wait. We all had the eggs and bacon breakfast which came with home fries, toast and jam. The eggs were cooked to perfection, the bacon was nice and crispy, and the home fries were great too. The waitress was very attentive, and came back a few times to refill our coffee's. The atmosphere in the restaurant was very family friendly people of all ages there.
