We placed an order from SkipTheDishes. We ordered 3 meals plus cheesy tots and mozza sticks. The delivery man arrived with 3 drinks and 1 combo.... we complained through the app but it was taking too long, it was late and we had already been waiting awhile so i decided to call the store and see if the 2/3 of my order was still at the restaurant. He said it was and that the driver was no longer available so we would have to pick it up.... after already paying for delivery. I went to the location and they gave me my food..... I pulled aside to double check.. only to see that i still did not have all my correct items. I go back through the drive-thru and tell them I'm missing the item, only to have the young woman at the window go get the man from the back and he tells me he 'knows' he put the missing poutine in the bag that was already delivered. He argued with me saying he knew we got it already and i explained 'I'm not trying to rip you off. we paid 50 dollars for this order plus delivery and i had to come out here anyways and still don't have everything i ordered. the poutine was not in the bag that was delivered. We sent the app a photo'. They made us wait while they discussed then eventually brought us the remainder missing items.
What annoyed me was when i called the location to explain the situation he already knew exactly what I was talking about. he said the other part of my order was there and that because they had no one delivering past that time i would have to go pick it up and they would remake the order for us.... So he knew our order was sent out wrong. He knew there was going to be no delivery drivers available after that order went out and he did not contact us to let us know... So if i hadn't called they would have been fine sending out 1/3 of someones order and not contacting them to let them know the situation....
It's awful because the 1/3 of the order that was delivered was now freezing cold and gross because i had to drive into Hamilton and fight with the employees just to get the rest of the...
Read moreWorst fast food experience in our lives! We haven't been to this location since 2015 and if we want our BK fix, we drive past this one over to Burlington as it's always worth it. We figured since it just was renovated, one of us would try it on Whopper Wednesday. For an 8:30 pm experience, omg never again! Staff were a cluster. When they finally took the order, it was added to the pile of confusion on and behind the counter. Everyone in dine-in that was given cups, received no drinks as the new Pop machine didn't have ice or dispense pop. Everyone kept making staff aware of this and instead of the managers being proactive and looking into the issue or offering to do customer dine-in drinks thru drive thru, people were just left with empty cups. After waiting 10 mins, and checking our order ticket, we wonder why the person that came in after us is already served their meal. The lady infront of us was 4 tickets ahead of us and still waiting for her families meal. We get our "fresh" Whopper Wednesday meal and the patty is cold....for 8:30 at night, and this is your "specialty" day, new or old staff, this isn't acceptable for a 10 plus minute wait for a cold meal a couple hours after dinner rush. Our meal went in the garbage and we ended up enjoying Five Guys up the street...no hassle, no bs, and freshly made. This Burger King should just close, or take lessons at least on how to manage and operate from other locations that are twice as busy and provide quality service and food...
Read moreI have come to this location for quite a while now, and have brushed off many things relating to my experience. I’m not someone who likes to jump onto a review site or demand a manger, but when I was on the phone with my mother earlier, she told me about her poor experience with this location and it made me think about my own. Numerous times my food was given looking like a complete mangled mess, both dine in & take out, order was wrong, fries taste stale and anything deep fried in the oil tastes fishy and once again, old. The employees are extremely rude to customers and are very unprofessional, and the managers don’t even try to make it a secret which workers they like and dislike when customers are around. Staff either needs a group counselling session to vent out thoughts, or a total revamp. I don’t want to bash them but it just struck me how down of a location this place really is lately. I hope they get their act together and improve, but based these reviews I see from other ppl, I don’t think it will happen any time soon. It’s a shame as this is a decent drive from my house, so it’d end up feeling like a waste of gas money more than half the time. Definitely not coming back to this place anytime soon. Sorry for leaving a review like this but I just had to finally say something about this...
