Tucked away in the heart of Hamilton, Milan Hamilton Indian Street Food is more than just a restaurant; it's a vibrant, flavorful escape. From the moment you step inside, you're greeted with the aroma of spices and the cheerful buzz of happy diners. This place isn't just serving food—it's serving an experience.
I've been on a quest for authentic Indian street food, and this spot has officially ended my search. The Pani Puri is a masterclass in flavor, with crispy shells and a perfectly balanced tangy and spicy water that makes your taste buds sing. Don't even get me started on the Samosa Chaat; the crunch of the samosa, the creamy yogurt, and the medley of chutneys create an explosion of texture and taste that is simply divine. And the Pav Bhaji? Rich, buttery, and exactly what you'd find on a bustling Mumbai street corner.
What truly sets Milan Hamilton apart is the passion you can taste in every bite. The team is incredibly friendly and clearly takes immense pride in their craft. They're more than happy to guide you through the menu, ensuring you find the perfect dish to match your craving.
If you're a fan of bold, authentic flavors and a lively atmosphere, you absolutely must visit. This is a five-star gem that deserves all the praise. I’m already planning my next trip back to try everything else on the menu!...
Read moreI went to Milan a few days ago to see what kind of snacks they had. We arrived in a clean, well lit place which was nice. The wall had interesting Indian murals which was neat to see.
Service was prompt and the person took our order attentively. Your transaction will not be full of customer experience. Think of the service the same style as a McDonald’s.
The food was average at best. The sandwiches area big but too much bread. It’s not like India. The bread is also extra crispy and heavy on grease. It was good for the first few bites. The chai is ok. The chole and tikki was nice for sure and the highlight of the meal.
The paan was a total disappointment. It was so bad that I spit it out. The Falooda kulfi was also poor at best. The Falooda was just small pieces and the kulfi was just cut up and put on top. Was not restaurant made. I would opt not to get it and we threw out ours as well.
Overall I’d go there for a quick snack and I’m sure there are other things on the menu that might be better. They have 0 knowledge of allergy education and no one can answer these questions. Definitely they need massive training on peanut , tree nuts, dairy, soy and gluten free issue. They don’t even know what some of it means.
I think my 3 is generous. Many vegetarians may find this...
Read moreI can’t believe I’ve never had food here before. This place is fantastic. Good affordable authentic Indian street food. Clean, well styled restaurant with good seating, good atmosphere. Some dishes are like $8, most are $8 to $12. Everything is amazing. Lots of Indian people actually go here.
I was thinking about getting food at Wendy’s next door for the thousandth time and not looking forward to it. This place turned around my whole night. I will definitely be back.
I love Indian food and there are many good formal Indian restaurants but sometimes it’s nice to get Indian street food. I’ve been to Oh-MoMos and Butter Chicken Roti on Upper Wentworth but I didn’t really like either. They both tried to hit that more fast casual Indian restaurant market but missed. They tried to do odd fried butter chicken something or other. I love Milan because it actually does the logical thing and brings fast casual food from India directly to us intact, rather than trying to make it “North American approachable” and leave behind all the wonderful flavour like...
