Stopped in to check out the new location. It was clean and well-lit. Items were well marked in font size large enough for me to read without my glasses, and calorie counts listed for individual items. They had several different types of savoury and sweet bread items (spinach and feta croissants, pizza breads, multiple types of hot cross buns, dinner rolls, multiple types of scones) and loaves of bread. There were displays around the front entrance as well as a table the middle, which I think might be in the way if more people were in the store, but with 4 customers we worked our way around the display table in the middle of the front area. Staff were very friendly. They offer samples if you want to taste something before committing to purchasing. They also have access to all ingredients lists at the front line, so if you want to hear ingredients, they will happily read every last one to you. I picked up the country grain loaf, which they offered to slice thick or thin - very good! I also recommend the white chocolate berry scones - fluffy and light, just the right level of sweetness. Read moreAlright listen... if my in-laws were in town, which they aren’t so that’s cool, but if they were, and I needed a legit loaf of bread like ASAP, this is where I’d be racing towards. I’d buy something fancy with nuts or seeds or heck.. fresh flour on top that gets everywhere when you cut it then you gotta whip it on your clean shirt that you put on cause the in-laws were in town.
Also, if the ol’ nephew was like “hey where’s the best cinnamon bun around here playa?” I’d say listen big time bobby, go to this place here called cobs, ask for them buns on the bottom shelf they are the better batch than the top shelf, because by the time the morning baking crew get to the batch on the bottom they’ve gotten in to the rhythm of the density of that batch of dough. And they look at how much icing is left and they realize the first half batch they been putting to little and they now will have extra so they add more to the second half of the cinnamon bun batch. Absolutely disgusting behaviour back from the manager “NO, NO, not leaving the store” was her excuse. Extremely poor service, asking for a kind favour . Zero kindness in this world.
I called further down the plaza to supplement king, and the gentlemen there was right on it! So kind and helpful.
Can for sure say this location is the worst .
