Your Shawarma — Restaurant in Hamilton

Their shawarma is all right, but their shawarma poutine is probably the best I have had in Hamilton and Burlington. I come here at least a few days of the month, and it has always been a pleasant experience. My debit card was not working one day, and they told me to not worry about it and to pay them back later. Super awesome, and I have recommended them many times with no regrets.

However, I had my first negative experience recently which left me very disappointed. I ordered via UberEats and needed to amend something simple to my order (and I know they are able to do this) so I called them to ask, and the person I spoke to was abrupt and would not accommodate. I asked if they were sure since I have gotten it done every single time I have come there, and they said “yup” and hung up on me. I called back, and they did not pick up. When the order arrived, it was not fresh and tasted pretty bad. I had to double check that I actually ordered it from there because it was a total 180 from my usual experience. It was kind of embarrassing since I was ordering for a friend too and it was their first time.

I have not been back since, but the overall experience was enjoyable aside from that...

I live over an hour away but was in the area and happened to want sharwarma. We hit up the first spot that has high ratings. But from my experience Google reviewers are a lot more lenient than Yelp so I wasn't that confident it will actually be amazing. I WAS SO WRONGGG. When I got into the store, i questioned if i should get two meals or one (sharing with my husband) but decided on one. Good thing i did because they are VERY generous here! I opted for the sharwarma rice and salad combo. A third of the box was for the salad and at first I thought the salad looked a bit dinky but then he started packinggggg it. I asked for extra pickles and he went to townnn with the pickles. I realllyy appreciated that! Normally when i ask for extra pickles elsewhere they give me a few pieces more but this guy really packed it. The salad with the rice and chicken went so well together. Also they give you toasted pita bits on top of your salad and thattt was a game changer. It added such a delicious addictive roasted flavour that we had to go in to ask for more crispy pita.

I would come here once a week if you guys were in Markham.. please open one...

Came to Sam Lawrence Park and on our way to home we dropped at this Shawarma location. First impressions of the shop were it is too small nothing fancy. But they had orders lined up. A long in sun we really needed something and ordered. They patiently made every order. Gave everything we asked for. Separately packed, amazingly big portions. U ask for one garlic sauce they give u six. Fast service and they confirm your order and pack it neat and clean. and changed gloves per order.

One small bite of Shawarma, Rice, poutine, Sub... Omg...We were a group of 20 people and not even a single person complained. every bite was heavenly. Flavour of rice, Amount of chicken, sauce, everything was a perfect close off. These guys were brilliant and clearly are on top of every Shawarma place we been to.

I can't decide what is my personal favorite. The shop has become my personal FAVORITE....
