Fairly Frosted Bakery — Restaurant in Hamilton

I had the worst first-time experience with this bakery everything was great on the phone great service and there were very kind people too until my guest tried the cupcakes the icing was delicious. The cupcake itself was crumbly dry and didn’t really have much of a taste. I asked for 24 cupcakes again The cupcakes itself was dry crumbly, and didn’t have much of a taste I was not happy and my guests were not happy. I had some that couldn’t eat chocolate, so I ordered vanilla but didn’t get what I ordered and for my cake, I got chocolate with strawberry frosting delicious the cake itself was dry and crumbly, but the chocolate flavour was there when I called and complained they told me they can give me $10 off my next purchase I will not be purchasing from them again since it was a very special 19th birthday for myself and personally I thought it was ruined. I requested a 50% refund because my order came up to $150 and for what I paid for I did not receive what I was hoping for anyways I sent them an email and they have ignored me for the last couple of weeks unprofessional will not be buying...

I usallay don't write reviews anywhere but i should give my review on this one ........Last Saturday I had my Gender reveal party and I have ordered from this store because I saw it has a high review ...... I was so disappointed ...... we were 11 people non of us was able to eat from the cake ...... it taste so horrible and the smell was bad .... I still have more than half of the cake because non of the people who came wanted to eat from the cake and I have paid 80 dollars .... I spend my money on waste ...... I was so embarrassed infornt all the people who came i didnot know what to do ......I am so sad and so disappointed because I was expecting a good cake but it was really the worst cake I have ever ate .... I dnt even give them a half star because they don't deserve ...from outside the shape looks so nice but the taste and from inside it...

Editing to add that in addition to owner Lise-Anne's fair response below, she also followed up by resolving this matter via e-mail. Much appreciated! Second time purchasing Fairly Frosted's products at Bake Healthii. Bought $25 worth, which included gingerbread biscotti at over $6+ alone. Found the product in their freezer - defrosted at home and much to our disappointment, the biscotti was still rock hard. Could not bite into it unless you would prefer chipped or broken teeth. Tried microwaving it, which left a burnt taste, therefore, ultimately tossing it.

Owner's response? To assess remaining biscotti when they dropped off more products to Bake Healthii. No follow-up. No replacement. Such poor customer service.

Will no longer be supporting this business, which is a shame considering other desserts I purchased...
