Only come at night because the owner is a piece of work.

She forgot to charge me for my extra cheese that I requested on my meatball sub... I said ohhh geesh i paid debit sorry. And proceeded to walk out the door...or so I thought.... I got yelled at HEY MISTER you pay for your cheese or no sub. I tried to politely explain that if she wants me to pay the extra 50 cents for the cheese she'll need to refund the entire purchase and than put it through again. That way I don't loose one of my interac/debit credits with my bank. Long story short I said it was your error and I shouldn't be the one that has to pay anything extra as she refused to refund and kept throwing her debit machine in my face with the price of just the cheese on it.

I walked out as she started to get anxious and ruder and ruder and she told me I was stealing and she was calling the police...

Needless to say I only pop by when I see the dude that's been on nights a long time... I shouldn't even be giving her my business but when your drunk at 2am and want a sub I know where to go.

For that worker I'll give a two star. The experience I had with the owner is my reasoning for the 2...

Overcharged and the employee argued with me Bought 2 Mixed subs today. Mixed subs are $6.75 each on Mondays and Tuesdays. Woman behind the counter made both of the subs and said the total was $16.25. I asked "aren't the subs $6.75 today?" she said yes. I took out my phone and showed her that $6.75x2+13% tax was only $15.25. She argued and said "No, no, no, you forgot tax. I will show you on the cash register". She then punched the 2 subs and tax into the register and the total came to $15.25. She said she made a mistake and repeated the order into the register again totalling $15.25. I paid for my subs and told her that she lost a customer and I would never return. They probably sell hundreds of these subs daily and overcharge every single customer. I'd believe her that it was a mistake if she entered the regular price ($7.20) but I double checked that she did use the $6.75 special price.

Subs were decent sandwiches although they charge extra for any vegetables other than lettuce, onion and tomato.

It's worth the drive 2 km down the road to Speedy Subs. For $4.99 you can get a ham sub loaded with toppings and the service...

I have had a great experience here so far, the only reason I'm giving four stars as the terrific service and amazing subs was due to an outstanding employee. Everyone should be learning from him.

I went the other day and didn't get my usual guy (my apologies his name is slipping my mind). Today I ended up with a sub, while having the usual amount of topping it was terrible. It was on completely stale bread, covered in oil (due to unmixed sub sauce) and overall not the subs that kept me coming back.

Unfortunately this means that I will only be visiting when the one worker is in.

I understand moving through stock but at a certain staleness, please just...
