I wouldn’t believe some of the higher rated reviewers about this place, I suspect that they had some of their friends to write them! I tried it out on the review basis and was disappointed to say the least, I ordered the chapli kabab chicken $10.99. What I got was 2 thin patties of… I’m not sure what I really couldn’t tell if it was chicken or not texture was off and they looked a little burnt, with a salad that could fit into a child’s small hand and green sauce with naan. The flavour of the “chicken” was kind of bland the sauce was ok the best thing about this meal was the naan. All this and I had to wait close to 20 minutes for it. I ordered catering for a family gathering in my home (approx 26 people) and I was so happy I went with Halal Rezq. Everyone loved the food, everything tasted so good including the Qabuli Palow- the meat was soo good and tender and they put such a generous amount of meat in the Qabuli. I also ordered a Mantu tray which was eaten so fast. There was also Kofta with lots of Qurma sauce which everyone loved. The chicken did not disappoint and the Bourani Banjan (eggplant) was soo yummy. For my next gathering I will definitely order again. I'm happy to say I found my Afghan food catering spot.
